Kellen Winslow (ankle) would not have participated if the Browns had held a practice on Wednesday.

Winslow is very unlikely to play on Monday Night Football.

The Browns did not practice Wednesday, but listed Jerome Harrison (ribs) as a would-be non-participant.

The Browns never released the results of Harrison's MRI, but he's a shaky bet to play on Monday night against Philadelphia. The ribs may be cracked.

Jerome Harrison (ribs) missed Browns practice Thursday.

Harrison is very unlikely to play against the Eagles. Look for Jason Wright to back up Jamal Lewis and Cleveland to struggle running it on Monday night.

Kellen Winslow (ankle) missed practice on Thursday.

Browns coach Romeo Crennel is only saying he's "hopeful" that Winslow will play again this year. Winslow is out indefinitely with a high ankle sprain.

Browns KR/WR/QB Joshua Cribbs was limited in Thursday's practice.

Cribbs is still expected to play on Monday Night Football against the Eagles. The Browns are considering using him more at quarterback in the game.

Even with Kellen Winslow inactive in Week 14, TE Martin Rucker was relegated to special teams duty.

Coach Romeo Crennel insists Rucker "still needs to work on some things" after having problems with formation in Week 13. Steve Heiden will remain the primary pass catcher while Winslow is out.

Kellen Winslow (ankle) has been ruled out for Week 15.

Winslow didn't practice this week and remains out indefinitely.

Jerome Harrison (ribs, questionable) missed a third straight practice Friday.

Browns coach Romeo Crennel doesn't envision Harrison playing this week.

12-13-2008, 05:09 PM
Josh Cribbs (questionable, shoulder) was limited in Friday's practice.

Cribbs was limited all week, but the Browns anticipate him being a big part of their game plan on Monday night.

HUGE blowout tonight coming! Eagles D will get about 10 sacks, 3 INT, and 1 FF.
I would like to see a Browns win but i couldnt be that lucky

Browns declared TE Kellen Winslow, CB Travis Daniels, RB Jerome Harrison, S Hamza Abdullah, LB Kris Griffin, LB Beau Bell, OG Scott Young, and DL Santonio Thomas inactive for Week 15.

Cleveland's defensive line is at full strength, but should remain leaky against a healthy and active Brian Westbrook. Steve Heiden will get the nod at tight end. Winslow is sidelined indefinitely with a high ankle sprain.

HE still needs to work on some things?? HE STILL NEEDS TO WORK ON SOME THINGS?!?!?!?! How about YOU Romeo. I think Rucker could realize that Cribbs should be getting more snaps. I think Rucker could figure out a defensive sceme that doesn't leave people WIDE FREAKIN' OPEN. I really despise this coach and wish he would just leave everyone alone and go away. Let the players just play and they would do better. He is just messing things up more.

Oh, pretty cool when one of your only possible pro bowl players gets hurt because the king of disappointments, the slowest linebacker in the nfl, Andra Davis, is jumping on the pile because he's too slow to actually make a play himself and falls on an already injured arm. What and idiot! But I guess he's not the only one affiliated with this monstrosity they try to call an NFL team. What a disgrace!

12-15-2008, 10:38 PM
He's going to continue to let Dorsey play this way until the game is so incredibly out of hand that it won't matter who he puts in under center. This is such a crying shame. Isn't the NFL supposed to be entertaining? Should he at least try to be even a bit creative. Can we as fans bring together a lawsuit against this man for general idiocy as a coach. GO HOME! JUST LEAVE!!! EMPTY OUT YOUR OFFICE AS SOON AS YOU GET BACK TO CLEVELAND!!

ummmmm WHAT!?!?! Hey, you have to score to make up a 14 point deficit. It's soon to be more. Intercepting a few passes doesn't change that they are moving the ball at will and the offense is going three and out like it is their objective.

12-16-2008, 10:03 AM
You would think that, having gone into this game without an offensive TD in 3 games, that they would try to do SOMETHING different. No huddle, different formation... something. Yes, I realize they're down to a 3rd string QB who throws while he backpedals every time someone gets near him, but that should not be an excuse. Just another sad effort.

It was nice of Braylon to catch the ball this week. Oh, wait, of course he was going to have a good game --- it's Monday Night Football! All his 100+ yard efforts this season have come on Monday night! If only the Browns played every Monday.

Considering that we play Baltimore and Pittsburgh twice a year, you would think that we might learn a thing or two from them on how to get to the QB on a consistent basis.

12-16-2008, 05:54 PM
Browns TE Steve Heiden will likely undergo an MRI today after being carted off the field Monday night with injuries to his right knee and ankle.

With Kellen Winslow already sidelined with an ankle injury, the Browns are down to Darnell Dinkins and Martin Rucker as the team's only healthy tight ends.
