View Full Version : Wizards Explore Trade For Trade For Grizzlies' Crittenton

Washington and Memphis have held discussions about second year guard Javaris Crittenton, the Washington Post is reporting.

It is believed the trade would likely involve a swap of Crittenton for the conditional draft pick the Wizards received from Memphis in the summer of 2007 for Juan Carlos Navarro.

Crittenton, who was a first round pick less than two years ago, has been stuck behind Kyle Lowry and O.J. Mayo on the Grizzlies.

To make room for Crittenton the Wizards would have to waive a player, with Dee Brown and Juan Dixon the most likely candidates because their contracts are partially guaranteed.

There was a lot of hype for this guy when the Lakers drafted him. Hopefully this goes down, and he can get on the court in Washington. I'm interested to see how good he really can be.

Antonio Daniels will be traded NO for Mike James. Mike James should provide scoring but he plays NO defense. I think that Antonio Daniels will be nice addition to the Hornets. He's tough and a smart player.

I actually like it for both sides. New Orleans desperately needs somebody to back up Paul. I mean, he's young now, but you just have to have somebody who can handle in when hes on the bench. AD can do that. Washington also gets Javaris, who I've been a fan of. I think if he actually gets some burn in Washington he could pan out. I'm hoping he does, because the kid has some talent.

Talk about perhaps the most insiginificant trade ever.
