Yeah, I think that's why they have Welker vs Zach Miller in the WR comparison. i don't see Moss getting many catches, as Nnamdi Asomugha is easily the best corner in football right now

I think its a case of if the Pats loose they are totaly out of the picture...so they got to keep winning

It's possible that Matt Cassel won't play this weekend, due to his father's passing the other day. I don't have any inside knowledge, just going from what I hear on ESPN.

Yeah, as of right now, he's questionable. really hope he plays. If not, we'll get a look at our back up next season, since Cassel will most likely be gone. Let's go Cassel/O'Connel

The Patriots aren't saying for sure whether Matt Cassel will play in Week 15, but he practiced for a second straight day Friday.

Cassel, whose father passed earlier in the week, practiced fully and isn't on the injury report. New England could have listed him as "questionable (personal)," but did not. He's fully expected to start against Oakland.

Call me crazy, but im worried about this one. Matt Cassel's situation must have been very distracting, and this the second game on the west coast road trip, which we fell flat in last time.

closer then people think but the Pats pull it out

KingJamsI
12-14-2008, 03:52 PM
all im saying is that they just managed to pull it out against a Seattle team with a much worse defense and probably a slightly worse or maybe equivalent offense. add in a week in the coast, and Matt's situation.... i donno. I hope everyone can say "told ya so" to me when its over, but i get a bad feeling about this game.

If this game gets close again, I'm going for Watson's head. His hands are so terrible. You're an NFL TE. You're supposed to catch the ball when it's thrown to you.

No, he doesn't.

Anyways, good win. We are now in a three-way tie for both the division and the wild card, but we don't have the tie breakers in either of them. Our only hope is to win out, and hope that the Jets, Dolphins, and Ravens all go 1-1 in their final two games.

It's a guarantee that either the Jets or Dolphins are going to go 1-1 because they are playing each other on the final week.

If we win out, all we need is Baltimore to go 1-1 and we're in. There's a pretty good chance of that, considering they're playing the Cowboys next week. I just hope the Cowboys win tonight, so they'll have something to play for next week.

Yeah, I think that's our only chance because Miami is playing KC next week and the Jets are playing the Seahawks and, if the Jets lose to Seattle which could happen, I could really see Mangini blowing the last game vs. Miami just so we don't get in because Miami is most definitely going to beat KC. The ideal situation would be for the Jets and Dolphins both to lose next week but, I doubt that will happen. Seneca Wallace could run wild on that weak Jets defense like he did to us but, like I said I really could see Mangini allowing the Dolphins to win if he knows the Jets aren't making the playoffs just to screw our chances. Baltimore is playing Dallas on Saturday night I believe so, if Baltimore loses the Patriots will have to go out and play the best game of their lives Sunday vs. Arizona. I think getting in as the final wild card is the more likely scenario.

I guess this whole NFL year has been crazy to predict. I am surprised we have a chance to make it, but I hate it when you have to rely on other teams and it's not just up to you to get in.

With Dallas winning last night, I really see them beating Baltimore now, so all we have to do is just concentrate on winning our two games. What would really be crazy is if both the Jets and Miami go 1-1, and we win out, winning the division, and then it's a tiebreaker between Baltimore, Miami, and the Jets for the wild card!

First things forst. Arizona is going to be tougher than Oakland for us to keep the hope alive...
