It depends on how well he plays this season. If he has a strong season, he is entering for sure.

HellCrooner or Savage must have the best info for this.

I don't have any link, but I read in a Portuguese newspaper, that Rubio is planning to come no sooner than 2010/2011 season. The article wasn't clear if he would enter the 2009 draft and stay one year, or only enter in 2010.

rubio might be a little over rated

he can still enter the draft, and come a year or two down the line. Manu did. If that is the case, he may fall to late lottery, but he will still get picked high. And he is not overrated. He has the potential to lead the league in steals, and is a very good ball handler and distributor. Terrible shooter, and needs to add weight, but the kid just turned 18, so that will come.

Well, you have Gay, Roy, Foye, Aldrige, Craig Smith, and Millisap in there, to name a few. This year's draft is considered pretty weak. After the top few, there really aren't many guys who will make it. Now, of course there will be a few that defy odds, and become good players, but the point is, there are pretty much no star potential players this draft.

exactly. thats why hasheem thabeet, curry, and even griffin waited till this year. this is probably going to be the best time for rubio to come out

He is not likely, he has just played today his first game of the season after recovering from an injury.
He still has a gigantic buyout that wont make sense to skip financially unless he is a top three pick.

That buyout gows smaller in the folowing years.

He also has to develop some more in order that he has inmediate success inb the league, arrive to be a leader of a team and not a bench player.

ill be surprised if he gets to the league sooner than 2011.

He better enter soon, he developed a limp wrist after 2 games against the big boys. He doesn't want his stock to plummet too much.

I think he could be better than Calderon if he puts on some pounds. He was pretty good in the Olympics, and when Calderon was out Spain did better. I'm expecting big things from him.

From what I've read, which is old from around the olympics when there was a lot of talk about him, he's not coming out until 2010...

come on Croon, no international player starts out as a big name in the NBA.

Pau was the best out of all of them and he was a big guy, was already the MVP I believe, and he played for a scrub team in the NBA.

i think there's a pretty good chance. weak draft class, so he should go higher than he deserves.
