Medical retirement my ***....More like forced retirement. If not for the trade, he would still be playing without any issue.

I wondered the same thing...

Why didn't Clippers' medical staff detected the heart condition? No medical check-up in training camp?

But if it's ALL true, I feel sad for him. I honestly don't know what to think of this...

Don't pin this on the Knicks. If anything the Knicks are doing the right thing by being cautious and sending him for a ton of tests. The report is that it's his decision... And this is by Marc Berman, one of the worst reporters in NY, so I'm not believing this until I see it for myself.

I loved Cat with the Rockets, he sure has fallen off the face of the planet in recent years.

Yeah, this is not on the knicks. Phsyicals and the like are standard procedure in all pro sports. Hope cat is alright though, hes a good guy, and it would suck to end a career like that.

Cat still had a lot of basketball left in him, this is too bad. I hope he gets healthy

Are you serious? If he has this, it's a very serious heart condition. It's killed basketball players in the past (think Kevin Duckworth). There is no reason to make comments like that.

I'm sure every other team would take that management. Do you not realize how much cap they have shed? They should be given medals quite honestly.
