Go Blazers!

A big test for the Blazers, we will see how they play against the Celtics. We have to contain 2 of the big 4.

We really need our guys to hit their 3s to win this one. If we miss too many open threes early like we did against New York and Washington we'll get blown out.

This game is going to be a tuff one. we need to have intense D and if we aint hitting the 3 we have to remember to go to the basket. Roy and Aldrige have to have really good games.

No doubt. If we play like we have the past few games we are gonna get killed, we really have to step up on D. Shooting percentages for the other teams have been ridiculously high lately.

I think another key will be our deep rotation, we have to wear down their big 3...

Rudy is gonna be the key

After seeing what Rondo has done this season, Boston now has the "Big 4".

Garnett, Pierce, Allen, Rondo. This team is loaded in the starting 5, hopefully our depth will give us an edge. And that that Blazers don't let Garnett intimidate them like last season.

I can't wait to watch this one on ESPN tonight what a game it will be! I think defense will be the biggest key of the game and of course hitting the open shots. We can't play sloppy like the last 2 games have been. Hopefully everyone is rested and ready to handle the pressure. I would like to see an offensive game plan geared more at going to the rim and keep the Celtics on the move don't just settle for the jumpshot. Either way this game will be a learning experience for this young Blazer squad.

So far refs have dominated play, calling fouls on the Blazers almost every time down alittle bias.

Looked like Roy pulled a hammy or rolled his ankle after being shoved to ground by Garnett. Idiot announcer says Blazers should have came down faster and gaurded Allen better in the transition, but we lost Roy to an injury on the play and we only had 4 guys on 5 freaking Espn idiots.

After the first Blazers down 24-21

boston leads 49-36 at half. We are only shooting 40% from the field, that was a poor second quarter

Boston is just plain out playing the Blazers at this point. The Blazers look uninspired and basically beat down. I'd like to keep harping about the foul calls but I'll quit since the Blazers look like they've kind of given up. Oden already has his 5th foul here late in the 3qrt. Like I said before this one will be a big learning experience. No big deal but we better get the same type of calls in Portland when we meet them again.

Final score Celtics 93-78 Blazers....last thoughts on this one all I have to say is the Blazers 2nd and 3rd unit came in and played very respectible at the start of the 4th cutting the once 25 pt lead to 10 which caused Boston to insert their starters back in that was beautiful. Nate must have been upset with some of his starters play not even inserting some of them back into the game in the 4th.

That game got ugly fast, Boston is just a far superior team and played like it. I just hope this young team will build on this game and see what they need to improve on.

Bayless looked SOOOO terrible. I am very disappointed. He got torched every-time he was on defense. God. Some may say the same about Blake or Sergio but I think it was more a problem with the bigs not being able hold the paint in transition.

It just fell apart so quickly.

I won't get on Bayless to hard, he hasn't seen any PT in a while and to throw him to the dogs is just mean. Boston is just way to good of a team.

Bayless did shot god while out there, Rudy had a terrible night from the field.

His offensive sparks off the bench got us back to 10 in the first place, I actually was quite excited by his play. But it was an horrible game and most of our starters played badly... LA started off well but disappeared, we just didn't hit any 3s... that's the risk of shooting so many a game..

Your way off on Bayless he outplayed Blake and Sergio easily offensively. Bayless and the rest of the 2nd and 3rd team were the reason the Celts had to reinsert their Starting five back out on the court. If your going to knock Bayless for his D then you better knock Blake and Sergio harder, cuz they are ahead of him on the depth chart and couldn't even keep up with the Celts front court it was pathedic everyone knows Rondo is fast why play him up so tight above the 3pt arc so he can blow by ya that was terrible D. I mean its not like Rhondo is a 3 pt threat, either bad D or better yet bad game plan by the Blazers coaching staff. Rudy had a terrible offensive night ending his consective 3pts/gm and contributing with a game high 3 turnovers. Thats going to happen when your playing a great D like the Celts have.

I recorded and watched the game again to see if I am just being biased against him. I am sorry to say he played MUCH worse defense than any of the other guards unless the it is a defense I don't recognize.

The Blazers looked like they were stunned. I also think there were a ton of missed calls when Portland was on offense. They just kept getting hit and bumped. Boston is SOOO phyisical.

I'm not blaming the loss on bad officiating but I think that is how it all started to go down hill.

I don't mind saying the refs sucked in this one. I had to mute my t.v. to refrane from kicking in my big screen listening to those idiot Espn so called experts. Now back on the refs in my mind I wonder why they are even out there seriously the NBA refs competely suck in every aspect. Portland should have been allowed the same or close to the same type of play that they allowed Boston to play thats all I'm saying. I'ts kinda hard to beat the opposing team and the refs. Now back to the actual game I will admit the Blazers would have lost regardless it just would have been alittle closer in the end. You know there used to be a time before big business when the NBA actually had real referees and the announcers actually analyized the game that was being played infront of them instead of what we have now which is a mockery of the sport. Sorry about my rant folks that will be all from me tonight. Go Blazers!

Lol. It was very unpleasant to watch. Those refs killed me. I felt like might be the only one that noticed. I don't like thinking that I wasn't being objective.

The comeback shows how much deeper Portland is than the next deepest team in the league.

Well somehow Dick Bavetta was making all the calls for portland, I can't recall many calls by the others... Sometimes Bavetta had to call standing on the other side of the court because the other 2 refused to blow the whistle. I think he was actually calling an OK game, but the other 2... just horrible.

Every time Oden gets the ball inside there's 3 guys jumping on his back, it's just unfair in my opinion that a 6"2 ft guard who goes up does get the call and whenever Oden gets hit in the paint they let it go because he's bigger...
