The Rangers face-off against the Montreal Canadiens tonight at the Bell Centre, in the second game of a back-to-back set. The Blueshirts currently sit atop the Atlantic Division standings with a record of 18-8-2, and rank first in the Eastern Conference with 38 points. The Rangers enter tonight's contest having defeated the Penguins, 3-2, in a shootout yesterday at Madison Square Garden, and have won seven of their last 10 games. Following tonight's match, the Rangers will return home to face-off against the Calgary Flames on Sunday, December 7, at Madison Square Garden. The Canadiens, 14-6-4, currently rank fifth in the Eastern Conference standings with 32 points, and have won three of their last four games.

Rangers have been good this year in back-to-back games. They are 5-0 in the first game and 3-1 in the second (the one OT loss coming against Detroit). So they got points in all 9 games thus far. Hopefully they can keep the trend. I'm sure we'll see Prucha back in the lineup after a great game. Historically, the Rangers do not do too well in Montreal. Their record there is
63-192-40-1.
