For my team. i'd say Millsap has stepped up to the plate and can prove that he can fill boozers shoes.

Like this year? Danny Granger and Devin Harris are the first that come to mind.

Devin Harris and Danny Granger I believe have taken that step to being considered a star.

Derrick Rose is already a star....Brandon Roy's star is still rising....Granger and Harris are great mentions....some of the Knicks are looking alot better but it might just be the freedom of playing for such an offensive minded coach....

Harris has been incredible this season. Man do the Mavs look like retards for making that trade. Not only do they suck now but they have to look at how well Harris is playing and just kick themselves every day.

I'd say Roy and Aldridge proved themselves last season and so has Stuckey.

I'm not really sure about Ariza yet and I'm a Laker fan.

I'd only add Rose to the list. He's gonna be hella good.

if the word STAR has any value to it...then it is just granger and harris

Rose has made it clear that he is going to be a VERY VERY special player. I'd say give him one more season before you call him a star only because what he does next season and onward is going to dwarf what he's doing this season.

Some of the others listed....millsap? stuckey? They're promising players but seriously...the key word here is STAR
