Hi,
Although it seems that we are near 2010 and the possible Lebronīs arrival to NY. First we will have the summer 2009 and I found an interesting analyze about the free agents...check it:

I'm curious on how much someone like Artest or Marion will get this summer as well as Gordon.

Artest will get about a 5 year 54Mil deal. Marion will get a 3 year deal worth around 28 Mil. Gordon will regret he turned down the Bulls offer. I can't see him getting more then a 5 year 38 Mil offer. I can't see a guy with no D making 10 mil per year.

but i think 20+ ppg deserves 10mil even with so little D, not many can score 20+ ppg and also be good defensively

Gordon is a good prospect!

hes really not a good prospect, granted he can score but does not know what the word "defense" means...plus his attitude is that he is worth more than 12 million per year...if you can to pay him that be my guest and take him.

The way this article sounds, it looks like NY is just waiting to offer Lebron over 25+ million per year to play in the Big Apple....

I am not sure if Cleveland can match that offer... Wow

You guys really haven't paid that much attention to the bulls this season!!! Bg really has improved defensivley to maybe an average defender!!! Luol deng is also a good defender and if you don't believe me, look at last nights game vs. Cavs where he held lebron to 8-28 shooting with 8 to's!!!

Who has all this cap room to sign these players? I mean after the Heat signing Boozer, then there goes the Marion angle from them. Who else has cap room?

Wow, do you know anything about how basketball free agency works. Its not baseball where you can do what the yankees do.

Cleveland is able to offer Lebron 1 more year than any other team, plus more money. NY can only offer the max amount just like everyother team, except for cleveland.

I totally agree with you...I think he has improved a lot. But if he is not the greatest defender is not a shame...he is great offensivily!

Ever heard of Stephon Marbury and Allen Iverson?

But those guys actually put up some incredible stats. Ben Gordon just jacks up shots. He can score but he's not a great scorer. AI was a prolific scorer and Marbury was point up some insane numbers in NJ and phoenix.
