This is just awesome. Time for Andre to retire, you're done man, hang em up. hah. If the Sixers had Rose they would a be a force, instead they have a three toed sloth in Andre Miller running the point. Love the announcers too....

Yeah, at first, I didn't think Rose was that great. But once I actually saw him play, deym, I'm on his bandwagon. Kid's got talent. He's legit.

I mean, it was a decent crossover, but then his shot basically got thrown out of bounds...

I'd rather have the points.

Yeah, I realized after I posted that that was the wrong point to make. Essentially I personally thought the block was more impressive, goaltend or not...

I dunno, I think that was fate returning the favor for when Iverson crossed Jordan way back when. Eitherway, I wasn't overly impressed by it, was kinda weak. That was more Miller not being a good defender than Rose hitting him with something serious.

As a sixer fan, andre miller got owned. It was a great crossover. However, Andre Miller is slow and a bad defender. If it was on Iguodala, then I would have **** my pants.

And then he got blocked.....

That's the problem with the NBA today, it's all about "flash" and "how" you do something instead of actually getting something done. It's all about the star player making someone look foolish instead of teamwork and working together. ESPN only shows big dunks and rarely shows great passing or unselfish play. Good crossover, yes, but he GOT BLOCKED! His crossover had the same effect as a turnover, comprende?

As stated earlier, it was a goaltending call, so he got the points.

You have a point...Rose wasn't all that hyped up around here until they showed this crossover. Now he is suddenly making alot more top 5 lists.

Still it was a goaltending violation on Dalembert.

I don't think so. I thought he was going to be a superstar before I saw this and this hasn't changed anything for me. But wow was that a great crossover. It was so sick even the biggest sixers fan (sixerlover) had to put it in his sig. Now that's true greatness.

D-Rose is gonna be a stud if not already. He has all the tools to be maybe even better then Chris Paul in the later future. Chicago just needs a center and a few years they will be contending.

That was a nice crossover. I watched the game. I didn't really get to see how Rose played for a full game but he's pretty damn good. He's poised on the floor, scores when he has too, I'm a fan of his game for sure.

Lets see whats wrong with that coment. 1st. Rose scored on the play. 2nd. Rose had 10 Assist. So its not like he was playing selfish. 3rd. He scored on the play. And if there was a better shot, he would have dished off the ball. The point is without the ability to draw double teams and penetrate to Create Baskets, What would CP3, Kobe, or James be. Nothing. Goaltending. do you know what that means or are you dumb.

scandaless2
12-01-2008, 05:56 PM
sure it was not a flashy behind the back crossover. The thing that makes this crossover so sick was the speed of D-Rose when he crossed him.. and for the 50th time it was Goaltending not a block

He did the crossover...it's not like he told SportsCenter to make it a big deal. They chose to show it, and talk about it. Hate on them, not the guy who did the play, for ****'s sake.

I love Rose and really I'm not trying to be a homer. But that is just Andre Miller being his old unatheltic self. It was a pretty simple crossover..

Dont get me wrong. Rose is gonna be there with D-Will and CP3, but this is just over hyped right now.

That's what I love about Rose..many star players would overhype a play like this. Rose actually downplayed it saying 'it's just doing what I always do'. It tells you he is more focussed of fitting in as a player.

He seems mature beyond his years.
