I think if anyone will do it, it will be Lebron. I think CP3 definitely has a shot though...

I agree, CP3, or possibly Wade.

LBJ.. but you do have a point.
I could see CP3 getting points, dimes, rebounds, steals

What about Dwight Howard? got 10 blocks that one game.. except hes not really much of a dime guy haha

Wade has gotten pts, rebs, assists, and steals in high quantities constantly this season.

All the guys you guys have mentioned have a chance, but I think it would have to be a talented big man with multiple skills. Perimeter players are most likely going to have a tough time getting the steals needed and blocks is almost out of the question for them. Out of the four quadruple doubles recognized by the NBA three of them were Bigs.

Im going to be different and say:

it has to be a talented Big, with multiple skills= Chris Bosh

It is really hard to tell. Points + rebounds + assists are necessary. And then either blocks or steals.

I'm going to say it'll either be Chris Paul or Marcus Camby, among current NBA players. I don't see Howard getting 10+ assists or LeBron getting 10+ steals or blocks.

Half joking.

But I do think it's more likely to be a guard than a big. (pts+rebs+asts+stls)

Soon enough, and especially for some teams (like those without true centers), Dwight is going to demand a triple team, so a lot of players are gonna be open. He could pull off 10 assists eventually I'm sure, he's just gotta practice looking for his open teamates more.

considering lebrons career high in steals is 7 and that was 4 seasons ago...i dont see lebron getting 10, nor do i see him getting the 10 blocks. id pick rajon rondo honestly to get a trip dub b4 lebron. the most probable is josh smith IMO, d12 is def a possibility, paul is a potential, maybe a few others i am forgetting

Josh Smith can do it, maybe in a 3OT.

Thats actually a good one... he actually could have a shot.... he did have 9 steals in a game earlier this year...

So far this year his career highs are:
23 pts (more then enough)
7 rebounds (hes a rook)
8 assists (Wade doesn't fully trust him to hold the ball yet)
9 steals (WOW...thats close)

Rondo's never had more than 7 steals either. And he hasn't even cracked 10 boards in a game this season!

What a horrible comment.

In order of likelihood:

Paul
LeBron
Josh Smith
Wade

I don't think anyone else really has a chance. Maybe Garnett or Howard. And it's not happening with any of the four listed above either, to be honest.

I think the ones with the biggest chance would have to be either Lebron or CP. Someone that might surprise could possibly be Bosh.

Yeah, Bosh is up there somewhere too.

If Wade could guard himself, he'd have the best chance. Third in steals, second in turnovers, sounds like a fit.

id put smith and paul b4 lebron...as for rondo...dont sleep on him. the man has games where he is one of the smoothest around. get him in a groove and he is more likely IMO. but as I said lebron's highest came in his 2nd season. so far his hi is only 4 or 5 this season vs rondo who has alrdy had a 7 steal game. I tend to agree tho with the latter part of your comment...I highly doubt it will happen again anytime soon nor with anyone mentioned...i would say dwight howard but his assist hi is only 6...if he could pass he would be a trip double threat every night and would easily be the favorite for a quad.

but watch...in 2 seasons itll be done by some random person. ricky davis or somebody. lol

Rondo would have to put up a career high in steals and a season high in rebounds on the same night before he could even think about a quadruple-double. He'd even have to put up more than his average PPG (9.5) to get that mark.

I'm sorry, but whatever way you cut it, 27.8/7.2/6.4/1.9/.9 has a lot better chance than 9.5/4.7/6.9/2.2/0.1.

LeBron and Josh Smith are rare in that they could conceivably hit double-digits in all five categories (not on the same night, of course). In other words, 10 steals AND 10 blocks are at least a remote possibility. I don't see Howard getting 10 steals (or 10 assists for that matter) or Wade getting 10 blocks.

That's got to up their chances a bit.
