He is only 22 right now and he is averaging 14 ppg and 6.4 rpg on 47% shooting this season. If he keeps up this pace how much do you think he can commend on the open market? Sure Atlanta will probably match the number but what do you think the number will be?

i say a team who cant get a good free agent in 2010 should go after this guy and give him the contract he wants. hes young and he has potential if u give him a lot of playing time then he could develop great

If Luke Walton got the MLE....he should get it, at the least.

I could see him getting maybe a Maggette type deal, 5 years for 50 million.

well depends if the Team thinks he is a bust or not

I'm curious as to how the result of the Darko signing might impact Marvin's chances.

At this point it does not really matter... he is producing well for them he has been working hard every offseason to improve his game...

He is getting better and better every year, so maybe he can get 6 or 7 million. Teams probably like the potential in him.

See that is why I asked the question. I rarely hear people talking about him. I hear more talk about Young from the 76ers than Marvin. I was curious if another team still thought he could be an eventual allstar and pay him like it.

I see him getting a deal around 3 years for 22 mil to go play in Europe.
