I don't care who he's been playing. He's the first player in NCAA history to put up back-to-back 20-20 games. He's averaging 26 PPG, 19.8 RPG and 2.8 SPG, with another 29 points and 17 rebounds tonight with a couple minutes left. I thought he at the very least deserved a thread to acknowledge this.

He's an absolute animal (especially when it comes to rebounding) and will be a future star in the NBA for sure.

He's having a Beasley like season. He looks like the best prospect in the college game easily.

Absolute beast.

I'd like to see him step it out a bit more before he gets to the NBA, but this kid has a very bright future ahead of him.

Would have been the 3rd or 4th pick last year had he come out, can't imagine him not going 1 or 2 this year.

One of the few guys that actually is likely to benefit from coming back another year. He's somehow managed to put his performance last year to shame, and he's certainly guaranteed himself a terrific draft slot.

18 points, 21 boards and 3 blocks tonight against Robbie Hummel and #10 ranked Purdue. Yes, I'm likely to keep posting his game lines if he continues at this pace.

Blake Griffin is an absolute beast and a stud. He is putting both Tyler hansborugh (no ideal how to spell it) and Michael Beasley's numbers last year both to shame.

I won't go that far. Beasley was putting up MONSTER numbers similar to Griffin's last year before it was time to play the big dogs game in and game out. Check Beasley's numbers from last year through his first 10 or so games. I think Griffin is an animal, if he puts up numbers even SIMILAR to Mikes after the season is over...he's had a great one.

Beasley through his first six games was averaging 27 points and 15 and a half rebounds. Griffin is at 26 and 19 through his first six. They're pretty similar.

Easily the best player in college right now just ahead of Step Curry.

Exactly I agree that they are similar. I was responding to a post that said Griffin's numbers were putting Beasley's to shame.

Hansbrough is playing hurt and still put up 34. Not taking anything away from Grifftin because he is a man child no doubt. But I wouldn't go as far as handing up the NPOY just yet. It's gonna be between Tyler, Curry, and Griffin.
