Portland forward LaMarcus Aldridge admitted on Tuesday night that he has been thinking too much on the court this season.

"I'm thinking too much, and it's messing up my game," Aldridge said. "I've just been thinking about the game. I don't think I'm playing basketball. I don't think I'm reacting to the game anymore. I think when guys read and then react, they play better. I'm not doing that right now."

He is shooting just 37 percent with 11.6 points in his last eight games, after posted 47 percent shooting and 18.9 points in the first seven games of the season.

Aldridge has been struggling lately. Maybe he should let the offense flow fluidly instead of forcing shots.

He has been in a mighty big slump this season. It would be nice to see him come out of it, but the place he struggles most is on the road. He averages 13 points on the road and 19 points when playing at home

yeah its just a slump, he'll pull out of it.

He's trying to change his game. They needed him to get more points in the paint and he's just not comfy doing that. He'll get better accustomed to being more physical as the season goes on. I can always appreciate a fellow Sox fan
