i say there 60 + win teams turns into a 47-50 win barely making the playoffs in at 7 or 8 seed and probably lose in the first or 2nd round

They become a 50ishwin team and dont steam roll through the playoffs. Realistically they leave in the 2nd round.

What if the Celtics lose KG, what if Spurs lose Duncan, what if Suns lose Nash?

I wouldnt even bet money on them making the Playoffs. They probably would, but not easily.

Frrrrank!!!

If kobe went down they would struggle trying to find a leader on the team as bynum is too young and gasol never has been a leader. Maybe Fisher? Then turn into a 45-50 win team, 1st round exit in the playoffs.

If kobe went down they wouldn't be as good. They'd win less games, and if they made the playoffs, they'd get knocked out earlier than they would with Kobe.

What kind of conclusions were you expecting people to reach? I mean this is a pretty easy one to call...

Too much to ask, but more realistic given their past.

50 wins or so in my opinion. Even when Kobe has a bad shooting night, like how he did last night, his presence alone gives his team the advantage. The Lakers are a great team with great depth, but when you lose a player of Bryant's caliber, it is a huge hit.

This is a terrible what if, meaning it makes me sick to my stomach.

But after watching last night, where Kobe did next to nothing, and we still blew out the Nets, I'd guess that the team could still get in the playoffs, with still a chance of winning the division. I mean we still have Gasol, a developing Bynum, Fish, and the best bench in the league.

It wouldn't be easy, and it wouldn't be as fun for us fans, but the Lake Show would still be a great team.

If they get a 1-3 seeding they can make it to at least the second round.

6 to 8th seed and first or second round exit, Pau averages 20 +points wins some Playoff games at last and shuts the ****ing mouths of stupid haters and gets the credit he deserves.

If Kobe goes down, I think we'd NEED to run Farmar as the starting point to get the ball in a good playmaker's hands. Ariza might also get a start over Radman since we'd have the spacing we need with Sasha coming on the floor.

Our bench would be reduced to Fish, Luke, Rad, Odom, Powell.... and imo, we would probably get to 45-50 wins because of the 11-1 start, but not make it too much further unless something miraculous happens.
