Is it possible? 10+ points 10+ Rebounds 10 ***ts 10 blocks and 10 steals in a game.

If so, who do you think stands the best chance of doing so?

As far as i know only Hakeem was able to do a 4th Double, Twice.

Lebron/Wade.

Only players who could get that in a game would probably be LeBron,Amare and Wade.

i dont EVER see it happening, but if i had to put money on it, i'd go with lebron. we all know he can get 10 points boards and assists, the blocks and steals are a stretch but its possible. all in the same game though?! no way..

dwight also, because we've already see him get 10 points boards blocks this season. throw 10 assists and 10 steals in there and there you go. so much easier said then done..

I think Wade or Lebron are the top candidates. Both regulairly cross the thresholds in points, boards, and assists. Wade can go off in steals and blocks too, and Lebron is just so inhuman that nothing is impossible.

But I really doubt it happens.

I don't think its possible. I think there's probably only a handful of guys who could do it. LeBron is so physically gifted he might be able too, as well as wade. I think the more likely candidate would be AK or Josh Smith, since they stuff the stat sheet and have done so on a regular basis over the past couple years. But really, getting 10 blocks and 10 steals is just damn near unfathomable.

LeBron - Career high 7 steals, 5 blocks.
Wade - Career high 6 steals, 5 blocks.
Amare - Career high 8 assists, 6 steals.
Dwight - Career high 6 assists, 5 steals.

It's not going to happen at all unless the game's pace picks up a lot and another great player comes around.

Best chance is pts, rebs, steals, and assists for a Quadrupledouble. And i can see that from a PG or a Sg but not a big man. If they want a Quintopledouble the ball would half to be in their hands most of the night and they would need terrific defense. I dont anyone in todays game getting a Quit but a Quad isnt out of the question for Lebron, Wade, Paul, Rose, Williams.

If it was going to happen i would say wade he has games were he gets 5 blocks he has quick hands so gets alot of steals and points and assists would come while Wade is a pretty good rebounder and can get 10.

Doubt Dwight gets even a 4 double first triple double just 2 weeks ago thou i could have sworn he got 1 last year when he had

26 points (nice)
14 rebounds (WOW)
10 TO:cry:

Is there anyone in the league who has even had a career high in a single game of 10 in each category? I almost find it hard to believe that there is anyone in the league today who has had a double digit game in each category.

I wouldnt expect it to happen any-time soon, although the names mentioned above would probably be the most appropiate canidates.

Yeah, I know AK had the 5x5 game, but I would be shocked if anyone has had a 10+ in any one game in their career.

Andrei Kirilenko got a 5x5 once i think. 5 points, 5 rebounds, 5 blocks, 5 steals, 5 assists.

Duncan obviosuly has the boards and points. Aside from that, he has had 11 assists, 8 steals and 9 blocks as career highs.

Hakeem has highs in those three categories of 12 assists, 8 steals and 12 blocks.

Kirilenko: 11 assists, 8 steals, 10 blocks

Those are the closest that I could find.

I figured AK would be up there and close, but to have a hard time finding someone whos done all 5 things in double digits in different games makes me highly doubt anyone can accomplish them all in one game.

It cant be done.

Magic Would have had the Pass, Score and Rebound and maybe steals but never blocks.

Jordan Lacked the Rebounds, Wilt Lacked the Steels etc etc, Oscar Robertson would have been the most likely, in the end he averaged a triple double for a season.

NBA triple-double facts

Averaging a triple-double over an entire season: Oscar Robertson is the only player in NBA history to achieve this feat.[3] During the 1961-1962 season, Robertson averaged 30.8 points, 12.5 rebounds, and 11.4 assists per game.

Most triple-doubles in a single season: Oscar Robertson holds another record with 41 triple-doubles in one season during the 1961-62 NBA season. Wilt Chamberlain is in second place with 31 triple-doubles in the 1967-68 season.

Double-triple-double: this feat requires at least 20 of any 3 statistics. Wilt Chamberlain is the only player to have accomplished this; in a February 2, 1968 game, Chamberlain's statistics were 22 points, 25 rebounds, and 21 assists.

Longest continuous streak: Wilt Chamberlain holds the record for the most consecutive triple-doubles. In 1968, from March 8 to March 20, he recorded a triple-double in nine straight games.

Not holding my breath for this one, a guy would have to play almost the whole game against terrible players. And if he was coming that huge, the team would attack somewhere else on the court on offense.

never gonna happen. a 5 double can happen if turnovers are involved, lol!

but on a serious note...the most likely candidates are lebron, wade, amare, dwight, josh smith, ak47....annnnnd KG!

surprised nobody even bothered mentioning KG, even though he's not wearing a wolves jersey anymore.
