Jackson at the 2 tonight?

Kings defense on the perimeter is pretty bad right now and guys are not rotating out to pick up the open guy.

If Portland's three's are falling it could be Portland in a big way

Jackson at the 2 tonight?

yeah what happened to Green at the 3 and Salmons at the two??

We did pretty good with that line up a few nights ago........why the switching around??

No one is going to get the hang of it Reggie if you keep dicking around with the starting line up.........put the same team on the floor to start for a week or so and try and get some consistency for a change.............Bobby J has been lights out of the bench man why the switchero??

kings play terrible 3 point defense and the blazers can't miss a 3. put 1 and 1 together.... yeah we'll have our 11th loss.

If we play like we did last night we will win. Chances are we won't play like last night, but we'll see what happens. Til then, **** THE BLAZERS YEAH!!!! GO KINGS!

I can see why Bobby would be at the 2, because he can bother someone to death with his Strength and his Speed. I saw him this year Guarding T-mac, lets just say T-Mac had to throw up a shot just to hit the rim...Wick Wick... Bobby is a beast and he will play like one tonight. He is being a leader and he is teaching by doing...Well I hope he does(Tonight)

Yeah, my blame game of the night goes to John "KOBE BRYANT/ BALL WHORE/ GLORY STEAL ATTEMPTER" Salmons who decided to dribble into traffic despite seeing a wide open Spencer Hawes in the corner. This team has been like the worst to be a fan of the last few years, not because we don't win. In that case there are plenty of worse teams to be into like the Knicks, the reason I say we are the worst is in the fashion that we lose in. I seriously think the Kings have lead the league in last second heart breakers for the past three years. Almost every game comes down to a play like that, and we pull out the win in maby 1 in 20 tries. Sweet Lord.

I like Salmons, but these boneheaded, poor decision, I'll think of it when I get there, type of plays are really starting to get old. This game was completely winnable, and we could have used a close win like this.

if we had kmart we woulda....nah im not even gonna use that excuse

the bottom line is this team is really bad. they find new ways to lose and just play too much individual ball instead of team ball.

i wonder what theus told the team during the last time out...?

No, thats the thing, this team ISNT bad, we just can't win. We can outplay another team for 47 minutes and still lose. And yes, if Martin was back, or maby even just Garcia we would have had a better chance to win. Plain and simple, good players make teams better. If Portland didn't have Roy, chances are they would have lost.

I didn't see it but it sounds like a heartbreaker

So what happened?? Did Reggie draw something up and then Salmons totally blew it or what??

On second though man you don't have to relive it for me

I am sure I will see Choke Job John on ESPN

I can't be that hard on the guy though he has played decently the last few............ah heck with it he sucks it sounds like he lost the Kings the game

im saying the team's playing down the stretch is bad more so that the team itself is bad.

it is heartbreaking to see the guys give it all they got for 47 minutes only to see salmons travel (which wasn't called) and throw up a prayer with his left hand wen there was at least 1 person wide open.

The Kings keep blowing it at the end of games. Whether it gets said or not, I know that all of us keep thinking, "what if we had K-Mart." My hope is that he can help us close out some of these close games. I guess we'll see sometime later this week.

Salmons just held onto the ball. It didn't look like there was any specific play drawn up, they just tried to isolate Salmons. With 11 seconds left: he dribbled away 6 seconds, drove the ball and spun into traffic and as time expired he threw up some garbage.

he's supposed to be back mid this week. so i expect him back by the end of the week for sure. if he's not back, then i'm gonna go crazy.... i need him, you need him, the teem needs him, we all need him.

im assuming within the next 2 weeks. so kmart will return this week and garcia probably the week after. if im not mistaken, garcia is taking part in walk throughs already. so he'll be back by early december.

i feel like i've been saying this over and over. john salmons you are not kobe and you are not MJ! pass the ball. i think part of the reason of why artest aint here is so we can move the ball more. we need real leadership on the floor. Hawes needs to come up as the next leader of this team along with Martin and Garcia. To me Garcia is really the heart of this team. he is clutch! Salmons please stop thinking your always going to be the hero just like the time during that mavs game at the end. That was your time. We got Hawes whose starting to break out, and Thompson whose such a pleasant surprise. alright ima stop its getting too long haha.

I'll be honest I don't understand the Salmons bashing. If he makes the shot everyone says how good/underrated he is. If he misses it then he's garbage....:pity: With Kevin Martin out, Salmons is our best scorer and is the only guy who can consistently create his own shot. Not to mention he is the best perimeter defender on the team.

****, I know it isn't only Salmons, but he's a part of it. The team can't rebound to save their lives, cough cough MOORE. But yeah the duo of Miller and Moore doesn't rebound well at ALL. Beno is a little bit turnover happy, and brad Miller can't shoot the ball consistantly. At this point, I say we use a lineup of Hawes /Thompson / Green / Martin (when he returns) and the player who I say is most underrated, Bobby Brown. Moore can play checkers with Kenny Thomas on left bench. Miller should be used for only inbound passes, and they should come up with a rule that you can send a player in for offense and sit him down for defense.....haha.

We obviously aren't getting it done, on defense or rebounding, so why not blow the lineup and see whats up the youth. Agreed?

He is our best scorer when Martin is out. No doubt about it. Kevin's a lot quicker and a lot better at creating his own shot. Had he taken a worthy shot, I wouldn't have criticized him. But he drove into traffic with Brown and I think it was Hawes who was open too. Anyway, he drove into traffic and just launched some left handed garbage up there.

I think he threw that up there due to the time. It's not like he had an eternity to look for someone open and pass it up. The clock was winding down, he lost the ball for a second, lost sense of the time and had to through it up. He wasn't trying to be Kobe, he really just wanted to have a chance at shooting rather than not getting a shot at all.

There were other guys open, I'm sure Salmons just didn't see them. I guarantee you Theus told him to drive the ball to the basket and take the last shot, and that's what he did. He was probably focused on driving to the basket and making the winning shot that he didn't even look for the open man. And I saw the shot, it almost went in.

The bottom line is, our team will get so much better when we have Garcia and Martin back. Theus will have a lot more options at the end of games and will be be able to draw better plays up.

I agree that with you for the most part. I think the best thing we can do for the team is trade Brad Miller for expirings, prospects, or picks, preferably just expiring's and picks. And once Garcia and Martin come back we may want to consider trading Salmons while his value is high, and if we can get some good pieces or picks for him, Theus should consider dealing him. Now, what can keep this from happening? The Maloofs. They are delusional and believe this roster has a chance to make the playoffs, and failure to do that means that Theus isn't doing a good job. Meaning, I'm not sure they are going to want to throw in the towel and trade some of our vets.

The part I don't agree with is starting Donte Greene. He isn't ready, and he hasn't earned the starting job from John Salmons, not even close. Theus isn't even ready to start Thompson over Moore at this point. There is no way Greene gets the starting job from Salmons this year. Unless Greene starts doing an impersonation of Rashard Lewis.
