Why would he?

However he has played in Jersey since being traded -- i.e. good or bad -- he left Toronto faking injuries and giving away plays to opposing teams. Seen any players get their numbers retired for that?? :laugh2:

I'm thinking the same day Artest gets his jersey retired in Indiana and Marbury gets his jersey retired with the Knicks...

I believe he should. If you come to think about it, he did put Toronto on the map. I think without Carter, basketball would not be where it is at right now. Well............ MAYBE because of Steve Nash but we don't even get much coverage on his games.

I don't think he'll get his number retired, but then again teams honor players for the weirdest things.

Well he went to the game only to see VC kill us, what do you expect? ^

And to answer the question, highly doubt it.

Haha.. more said as a joke.

But c'mon man... there is no way that VC is getting any love in Toronto. If you watched the game last night you'd understand that this will never happen.

He's a bum. Granted, super talented and an amazing basketball player, but if you've ever seen him play live, he's got no heart. Sorry Vince. You've got a cool name though.

No. Toronto fans in general don't like him, and he didn't do anything as far as taking them deep in the playoffs anyways. he put them on the map officially, NBA speaking, but that is about it. He left under terrible terms. That would be like Dallas retiring Nash's number. Bad example, but you get my drift.
