Its just that Rose can drive to the basket WHENEVER he wants. He doesnt even need any picks. Just has superhuman like agility/quickness!

Brandon Roy is a great talent, but he isn't going anywhere with Portland. At least, not if they're putting too much stock in Oden to carry that team.

No one player has to carry that team.

Have you seen the talent they have?? They could trade half their team and still be set for the future....and why is everyone ignoring that Oden is actually playing really well???

I'll say Chris Paul. He's proven that he can lead his team into the playoffs.

im going to blow you all out of the water and say anthony marrow

-he shoots better then all who are listed
-has shown that he can create his own shot]
-will only get better with time, and when you put up points like he does he will get alot better.
-he has a coach who knows exactly how to use him and who will get the best out of what he has to offer.

marrow will be a special player in him prime......which is still over three seasons away.

1.) he isnt a better scorer then any of the players listed
2.) He is a sg and only other 1 up there is Roy, Roy over Morrow anyday.
3.) Have you seen Rose play because if you have you would see he creates all of his shots.
4.) Morrow cant pass and is a a weak defender.
5.) he cant even touch CP3 or Dwill.

Of those players, Chris Paul is the answer. If we're talking about championships, that goes to Andrew Bynum :D Although, he'll be a 2nd or 3rd wheel most likely so I don't know if that counts??

When was Morrow even drafted? Are you sure he didnt just have two good games? If he was good in college than he would be drafter higher. You are clearly either just a deprived Warrior fan who is looking for some way to enter this thread, or you think one game means everything. You must love Linas Kleiza and Damon Stoudemire also...

Am a huge Rose fan and i think that in 5 years he might be the best player among those 4 but right now they are all more proven even Roy although i think he might already be better then Roy it is close.

yea hardaway wasn't drafted.....
just because a player wasn't drafted doesent mean that they wont be great players. who is to say that marrow will not be a great player?

the fact is HE DOES HAVE A BETTER SHOT THEN ANY OTHER PLAYER MENTIONED ON THIS THREAD and with the shot he has do not count him out.

Idk but that would be cool if way down the road Paul and Rose played each other in the finals.

Rose shows a LOT of promise, but he's still got a lot to prove before he's put at the CP3/DWill level.

I would take Rose over Roy at this point, Rose is able to at least hang with Roy right now, but has shown that he will more likely than not be better than Roy.

After what rose did to us yesterday. I'd say he's going to be a stud. but would he have done that against us if D-will wasnt hurt? and was infact playing against him??? Not a chance. he's not close to D-will and Cp3 yet.

Penny or Tim? I think they were both drafted, and regardless of if I wrong or not, are you purposing that Hardaway is better than ALL four players listed?

Flash812
11-25-2008, 07:16 PM
I get the chance to watch Paul every game (half the time in person) and he is one special player. He now has back to back triple doubles, is going nuts in distributing assist, can score at will even though some nights he chooses not to and has atleast 1 steal in 96 consecutive games. People thinking Rose will be better are delusional Chicago fans, he won't ever average the assist Paul does with putting up more than 20 pts a night as well. 20 pts, 10 assist is hard as hell to do and Paul averages that.

Yeah, Penny went 3rd overall and Timmy went 14th. Calderon is an undrafted gem and there are plenty of others. Noc is one. Udonis is another. It happens but it's rare. I'd definitely say Morrow is a couple steps below the others at this point but he's got potential as a volume scorer or at worst a 3pt specialist.

he'll have at least 5 championships
i also think rose and durant will be good

Roy will never be the best player on a championship team, the other 3 have the potential to be.
