They waived two players and I think that they have a deal for Wallace. I also forsee them trading Felton to the Warriors

I also think Wallace and Felton might be gone come the trade deadline. I guess we'll wait and see.

i hope the warriors can pull off a trade for felton, i like wallace's game but he has 5 years 50 mil left on his contract. i dont think most teams what that on their payroll.

They have Richardson....But it wouldn't be bad except for the fact that the BUlls have no need of Wallace...

Oh, this is interesting . . .

Szczerbiak+ for Wallace?

There was talk of the Cavaliers looking at Wallace, and tonight Szczerbiak didn't travel with the team "for personal reasons."

It could very easily be a coincidence, but just the thought makes me excited.

CHARLOTTE, N.C. -- The Charlotte Bobcats waived little-used forwards Andre Brown and Linton Johnson and were on the verge of signing center Dwayne Jones on Wednesday.

The Bobcats were also one of several teams pursuing forward Antonio McDyess as the Bobcats look for ways to boost a thin front line.

General manager Rod Higgins said the 6-foot-11 Jones would likely sign on Thursday. The former Saint Joseph's big man has played 74 games for Cleveland and Boston, and had been playing overseas.

Higgins said he has been in contact with McDyess' agent, but that nothing is imminent with the free agent, who was waived by Denver last week.

Coach Larry Brown has continually lamented his frontcourt depth, and the Bobcats have been consistently out-rebounded in their 3-7 start.

Andre Brown was signed before training camp and played in four games, scoring four points and grabbing 12 rebounds. Johnson was signed just before the start of the regular season. He appeared in two games and did not score or get a rebound.

Signing Jones would leave the Bobcats with 14 players, one shy of the league limit.

That would leave room for McDyess, if he decides he wants to be reunited with Brown, his former coach in Detroit.

Doesnt Wallace play same position as Lebron?

Doesnt Wallace play same position as Lebron?

Yeah, although LeBron does play some 4 these days.

I'm certainly not an expert on Wallace (no reason to watch Bobcats games), so I don't know if he could slide to the 2 (or 4?).

With the way Delonte is playing, it'd be a shame to see his minutes go down. The chance to add a talent like Wallace and make the team better would be hard to pass up, though.

That man not be a bad deal at all.
It wouldn't fix getting Mek to PF, but they'd have a solid interior.

If Felton were a better shooter I'd say no but he's not.

Only thing is Augustine being the 'PG' of the future.

Stack's from Carolina also so it could happen but once teams see how big Wallace contract is they seem to back out it...I would love to have Wallace on the Mavs but there is no way I would trade Josh Howard for him.
