Their is a thread about the best right side infield so i decided to make a left side :D

Which team has the best right side of the infield (3B-SS)

(offsensively and defensively)

Maybe a homer pick but Wright-Reyes

I agree, Reyes+Wright or Jeter+A-Rod

If they learned to play D, Hanley+Cantu ;)

arod + insert name here = win

its a tough choice...A-Rod compared to Wright, defensive-Wright, power-A-Rod, clutch-Neither, Steals-Wright (previous 30-30 player), AVG-Wright...my edge would have to go to A-Rod but eventually Wright will take over... Jeter compared to Reyes, defensive-Reyes, power-Reyes, clutch-Jeter, Steals- NO QUESTION, Reyes, AVG-Jeter...give me Reyes over Jeter... it is very close but because of their youth give me Reyes and Wright...

I like the youth of Wright and Reyes, and they might be they best in 09.

But ARod and Jeter might be the best all time.

It is close, maybe a race to the World Series will settle the debate.

A-Rod and Jeter but Wright and Reyes are right up there

Soto>Norris

wright and reyes. They are also much younger and will dominate for the years to come.

if Miguel Cabrera was still on the Marlins it would be them with Cabrera and Hanley but i think i have to go with Wright and Reyes

Yea, even though neither of them were above average defensively, their offense would be unmatched by any other left side.

The only ones that came to mind right when i seen the thread was the New Yorks.

Reyes and Wright.
Jeter and Rodriguez

And I really dont think anyone else comes close, as far as production goes.

Mets/Yankees were the 1st to come to mind, and since that's what most people are going with, I'll just go ahead with that choice

Braun and Hardy would be in consideration if Braun was still at third (even with his d) also Chipper and Yunel Escobar should get a mention.

In 2004 when Baltimore had Tejada and Mora, i think that was the best left side of the infield their has been in a while (in terms of their production for that year).

THAT'S a ridiculous comment, because you can't predict what Cano will do going forward.

this is between Wright/Reyes and Arod/Jeter and the Yankees duo wins it based on the abilities of Arod alone. But defensively Wright and Reyes own Jeter and Arod and I would honestly pick Wright and Reyes.
