Which team has the best right side of the infield (1st and 2nd base combo)?

Pedroia - Youkilis
Utley - Howard

Others??

What do you think?

Offense or defense

Not fair when Utley carries 4/5ths of the weight. You could put Bobo the clown on first base and it would be a good right side of the infield.

Tough to go against Utley and Howard.

Outside the box: Roberts & Huff

Utley and Howard is slightly better than Pedroia and Youk

BP and Votto for defense (take away Edwins horrible throws to first and Votto might not make any errors)
Howard and Utley for offense

Should have a poll.

I'll go with the general consensus and go with Utley/Howard Pedroia/Youkils.

I think you meant this as a joke because his name is WRIGHT. I found it quite clever, obviously no one on this forum has a sense of humor.

Offensively its gotta be Howard/Utley but when you count defense Howard is one of the worst defensive 1st basemen in the game so all around I say its Pedroia/Youk.

Quick thought if the yankees sign Tex then i say they have the best because when Cano is right he's got the most talent at 2nd base and Tex is well Tex.

I assume were talking all-around, and not just defensively. Cause Howard can be a liability at 1st base. Utley can cover some ground at second and that helps, but even he has some moments.

Off - Utley/Howard hit a combined .271 81hr 250rbi (330h- 1217AB)
Pedy/Youk hit a combined .320 46hr 198rbi (381h -1191AB)

Def - Pedy/Youk errors 6 in 1846 total chances
Utley/Howard errors 32 in 2344 total chance

I know those arent the best stats in the world but just a rough idea. Obviously Utley/Howard for Off, but Def you can't beat Pedroia/Youkilis.
