1. Manu Ginobili (the flair, the craftiness, the clutch play, the amazing basketball instincts...Manu plays the game like poetry in motion...he can make any highlight reel seem natural)
2. Tim Duncan (he is everything you wish for in a franchise player, with great exception to being marketable)
3. Rasheed Wallace (even though I hate his tendency to shoot the three too much, he is prolly one of the most complete bigs ever...the guy is a terror on the block, has a great stroke yet he never demands to being 'the man'.)
4. Brandon Roy (this guy gives you offense not just in scoring, but passing as well...not many perimeter players with his talent are such willing passers)
5. Al Horford (a hard worker, very courageous playing the center position while being undersized...he is able to be a role player and do the dirty stuff, but he seems just as comfortable as the go to guy when his number is called)

I like fundamentally sound guys.

Well some of us were certainly harder on Kwame than others :p

Apparently he was well liked in the locker room, he was a jokester I've heard. I actually was open to us trying to resign him for some defense off the bench as well, but we seem to be doing OK without him lol.

As for my favourite 5 (besides Laker players):
Dwight Howard, Tim Duncan, Shane Battier, Rip Hamilton, Chauncey Billups. I have a thing for unselfish players who play good defense.

Don't know why, but I just happened to notice that your 5 all play the same position ;)

Tim Duncan - the Big Fundamental is still the best big man on both sides of the ball.
Mike Dunleavy Jr. - He's in Danny Granger's shadow, but he has such a high basketball IQ that he makes his offense look effortless. I can't say enough about fundamental basketball players.
Danny Granger - Homer pick. Not only has he stepped up his offensive game, not only is he finally starting to look like an all-star, but he is blocking shots (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZeVvQ2AesPA). As a SG/SF.
Tony Parker - Uninjured I'd take him against any PG in the league.
Jeff Foster - Another homer pick. You have to love a no nonsense, blue collar, hustling rebounder. Not everyone on a team can be a 20ppg scorer, someone has to do the dirty work. Dive for loose balls. Box out on the block. Take the charge. He's the guy every team has to have if they're going to contend.
