He's been on the ballot 6 times and still hasn't been inducted. This is an outrage!

- innovator of the Triangle offense, which has won 9 championships in 2 decades

- integral part of 6 championships as assistant in Chicago

Winter is a member of several halls of fame, and he was awarded the John Bunn Award for lifetime achievement from the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame.

However, although Winter has been on the final ballot for the Basketball Hall of Fame six times, he has not yet been accorded this honor.

I think he'll get there eventually.

BTW--Wasn't he part of the coaching staff for the three-peat Lakers?

He should definately be in the Hall. I don't know how long it will take him to get there though.
