Steelers waived WR Dallas Baker.

This will get Limas Sweed active as a fourth receiver on game days. Baker, a seventh-round pick in 2007, will probably be replaced on the roster by either a tight end or a cornerback. He is out of practice squad options.

We signed Roy Lewis from our Practice squad who is a CB and Tomlin thinks very high of he should do well this week and be able to help out. They also said if he clears waivers then he could possibly rejoin us next week. Rumor also on the street is this move was made b/c Bryant still has not learned our system well enough. I am not to worried tho if we lose baker there are other WR's out there such as Chad Jackson from Patriots

not an important loss, steelers have plenty of capable receivers. I actually wouldn't mind seeing sweed getting more game action, even ahead of nate washington on some 3 wide sets. he has huge potential with 4.4 speed and 6.4 frame

Steelers re-signed WR Dallas Baker to their practice squad.

Baker has failed to make plays in limited opportunities.

We need sum type of offensive spark, we just have that Raven feel to us all DEF. little off.

I don't think we need that spark from an offensive weapon, ie receiver, we need the same thng we have all season, offensive line!!! We'll definitly address this in the offseason
