Phoenix Suns have homecourt Advantage

Phoenix Suns Lineup:

Portland Trailblazers Lineup:

C: Marcus Camby - Nenad Kristic - Josh McRoberts
PF: Al Jefferson - Serge Ibaka
SF: Travis Outlaw - Jeff Green
SG: Brandon Roy - Nicholas Batum
PG: Rajon Rondo - Jameer Nelson - Sergio Rodriguez

Phoenix Suns Writeup:

Steve Nash vs. Rajon Rondo
This matchup is one that we are going to thrive in. Rajon Rondo is decent and many people overrate him. He is decent, but he was on a great Celtics team that made him look better then what he really is. Playing with KG, Allen and Pierce is a dream come true and obviously those stars are going to make you look good too. But Steve Nash is much more experienced and has much more playoffs experience then Rondo. Nash is a top 3 PG and is going to thrive in this matchup.

Rip Hamilton vs. Brandon Roy
Brandon Roy is a very good player, but we feel this matchup will be one of the better ones. They both are good scoring option and similar in a lot of ways. Roy is still young though while Rip has been one of the better SG in the game for a couple years. If we have to double team Roy then we will. He is their main scoring option and if we stop him we have a much greater chance of winning this series.

Hedo Turkoglu vs. Travis Outlaw
Hedo Turkoglu had a breakout season last year and we feel he will continue that breakout here. Travis is a decent player but he is still learning while Hedo has the experience again. Hedo's shooting is going to be key in this matchup. We feel we will win in this matchup also, but it will be a good one to watch.

David West vs. Al Jefferson
This is probably the best matchup of all. West had a breakout season also last year and is going to thrive with playing with Nash. He thrived under Paul and we dont see how that will change now. Big Al is a very good young PF and is definately the other threat on this team along with Roy. They both can do everything and this is just going to be a great matchup. To close to call, but we will give the slight edge to Big Al.

Shaq vs. Marcus Camby
This matchup we are also going to dominate. Shaq is going to just power right over Camby. Camby is much smaller then Shaq and even though he can score, Shaq is the much bigger threat. Even though Shaq is getting older, he still scares people and can score at any moment. We win this one by a lot.

Suns Bench vs. Blazers Bench
We clearly win this as we were voted the best bench by the other GM's. We have a very deep bench as Duhon and Stackhouse could start on a couple teams. Rookie Robin Lopez is learning from Shaq and Tim Thomas and Channing Frye are patrolling the backup PF spot. 3 point specialist JJ Reddick is nice off the bench as well as veteran Grant Hill. The Blazers do have Jameer Nelson, Jeff Green and Nenad Kristic but we feel we win this by a lot also.

Overall, I feel the Suns will take this in 5 or 6 games. It will be a good matchup, and they did just upset the Lakers but we feel like we will be advancing on.

Portland Trailblazers did not post a writeup.
