View Full Version : PSD All-Star Voting: Eastern Conference SG

11-13-2008, 08:43 PM
After two days of voting, Allen Iverson has landed the point guard spot. He's been playing point guard for a while, so nobody argue about him being in that spot. Also, I think voting by position is a better idea than just picking two random guards, so don't get upset that there's a little more to this election than popularity. I'm trying to organize a team with five unique positions; this is a mock.

Everybody knows NBA All-Star voting is a popularity contest, just like the presidential election. I am starting a mock All-Star election for contirbutors of PSD to choose the starters. Even though most people on this site are totally biased, they are a little bit more informed than many of the people voting for the All-Stars. Think of yourselves as a special sample audience.
I know that in real All-Star voting, people vote for two guards and forwards from the east and west, but here we will vote by position to make sure everyone gets one vote per player. I will compile the results after 2 days, because that is the length of my patience, and any serious contributor should be able to manage within that time frame.
In this thread we will be voting for a shooting guard from the eastern conference. We will vote for other positions in other threads.

I gotta go with JJ. He is playing really well, and I have always liked him as a player!

I don't see how anyone could say that JJ is playing better than Wade....JJ has a better team but Wade has been spectacular....

11-14-2008, 02:39 AM
lol Really?
He's one of the top PG's in the EAST, why not?

Dwayne Wade would be my starter and Joe Johnson would be the reserve.
