That would be good for both teams. Curry could help the Heats weak front court. And Marion could free up some cap for the Knicks. But he might flurish again in Mikes system.

That's an interesting move. If the Knicks found a way to do it they would probably be a Playoff contender out in the East with Marion on board then free up $17 Mill next year. Who would be some other guys for the Knicks to throw in? And you know Miami is not going to pick up Curry's player option, they are probably going to go after Carlos Boozer in the off-season who is an unrestricted FA. Boozer lives there in the off-season and his family is living there as of right now.

Curry has a player option, which means he decides if he wants to countinue his contract.

I don't even want Marion right now. As a player, of course he would be great for us but 2 things:
1) He is asking for a ridiculous amount of money to re-sign him
2) Wilson Chandler can develop into a similar player

On the positive, the Knicks could use him as a rental for this year alone and save $11 million in 2010. A sign and trade next summer with a team that wants him could also be possible since the Knicks would be allowed to re-sign him for an extra year.

which is why Miami would keep him than trade him for Eddy freakin Curry.

Nothing in Riley's history indicates Eddy Curry would be the centerpiece for a deal

I don't know if there is a burned bridge between D'Antoni and Marion, but Marion would of course flourish in D'Antoni's system. I've seen it. All of us have seen it. But of course we don't know what happened between Shawn and D'Antoni, and if anything at all.

Curry is garbage.... no way we are trading Marion for the Knicks Garbage

This would be the starting point for any trade talks:

Also, the Spurs being on that list, disgusts me immensley. I do agree that they need a Center to be side on side with Duncan, but Popovich wouldn't deal with his lazy play and no defensive ability.

The Knicks don't have a free roster spot so a 4 for 3 deal couldn't work.

I would want to do it because it will get us marion and we get rid of Curry but on the flip side, will it hurt our young players development in WC and JC due to Marion being a allstar and former dantoni player? But i guess i would be willing to find out.
