For the 2008-2009 both the Atlanta Hawks and LA Lakers are a perfect 6-0 and the last 2 unbeaten teams.

I then went back and noticed that in the 1997-1998 season that both the Hawks and Lakers were the last 2 unbeaten teams as well.

Both teams started 11-0

Good facts....Who teams made it to the finals that year? I'm pretty sure neither of those two teams made it. I know the Lakers didnt.

The top 2 teams. Chicago and Utah both were 62-20 and the Lakers and Sonics were 61-21.

I think that could have been last year where the Celtics had a hard time taking out Lebron's Cavs.

You can't really make a comparison between this year's Lakers (and Hawks) and those Lakers and Hawks, they are completely different teams.

Of course they are different. The point was that both teams lasted the longest as far as being unbeaten.

The Hawks beat the Bulls by 2. I wonder how the game went.
