After reading a litany of threads regarding the Cavs and Lebron James, I was wondering how do you all think Cleveland would do if they were in the Western Conference?? Would they make it to the playoffs? Miss the playoffs? Would they be one of the better teams? Any thoughts?

They were 17-13 against the West last year and they should progress this season. I think they'd be a playoff team, probably around the 6 or 7 seed.

They play defense so around the 4th or 5th seed.

With the current roster i think they will be a playoff team. Last year we owned the Lakers in the regular season, but i think they are currently the best team in the league right now.

Yes. Winning by 2 points and 3 points is owning. Not to mention there was no Pau Gasol or Andrew Bynum...But what do I know?

6th or 7th seed. They have a decent squad, and possess Lebron James, so anything is possible.

They have Andrew Bynum. If the Lakers never win an NBA Championship in the next 3 years. Kobe Bryant should retire in the NBA. He should always thank Shaq for carrying his @$$ in the NBA Finals.

LOL. I would stack Kobe's resume against any player over the last 25 yrs, and he could hold his own with just about any player.

I know that Kobe Bryant is the 2nd greatest SG in the history of the NBA, but i don't like the attitude of ARMIN12NBA because he's criticizing LeBron everyday. :eyebrow::):D

has anyone here checked the west this year??? After the strongest showing ever, they have fallen off a cliff. New Orlean, LAL, and maybe Houston are contenders. After that, they are all mediocre. Cleveland would have a shot at homecourt. Phx, SA, Dallas, etc, are all far worse than before. Utah is right under that elite group. This year won't be like last. 48 wins will be more than enough to get into the playoffs. And this is coming from a west fan.

how these things turn into Laker threads is awesome. Many of the posters on this site think Kobe hung the moon, and still had time that day to shoot a 34 against Tiger in a round of golf. Don't sweat it
