The rookies starting lineup looks as if it will be:

PG: Rose
SG: Mayo
SF: Beasley
PF: Gasol
C: Oden

This could vary depending on Oden also we hae Rudy,Westbrook etc..

Do you think they will take the sophomores this year?

It's been 6 years since the rookies have one over the sophmores and its only happened twice out of the 9 times they've played ('00 / '02)

Last years rookies werent so great and i can clearly see four allstars in this years promotion Rose, Beasely, Rudy and THompson, then you got oden and mayo that have a good chance if the first learns not to hog and take better shots and the second is healthy.

Then you ahve the Career starters that i can envision Westbrook, Gasol jr, or Hibbert becoming.

Since his first game Mayo is shooting 48%. He had 1 bad game and people keep bagging on him for it. He is a rookie he is learning.

But besides that i dont really see the Rooks winning this year either. I think there is a reason the Rooks always lose and its because of experience. Although i believe from top to bottom the Rooks are more talented. And i think my grizz will have 3 of them there in Gasol Jr as you call him Mayo and Authur. But people like Durant, Horford, Stucky and i think a few underrated sophmores in Al thorton and Spener Hawes will get it done.

They pick like...9 players for each team right????

Rookies:
C- Oden/Gasol
PF- Thompson/Love
SF- Beasley
SG- Mayo/Rudy
PG- Rose/Westbrook

Sophs
C- Hortford/Hawes
PF- Scola/Landry
SF- Green
SG- Durant/Thad Young/Nick Young
PG- Stuckey

It will be a great match-up....but I picked the Rooks....

With Gasol and Fernandez alone, they have more experience than the whole sophmore team

yeah, Oden shouldn't be there because there's like players out there that played 5 games more then him so far and 5 games really does count more then being one of the few rookies that will actually start on his team from day 1 when healthy (the ones that do already are shown on the rookies team right now)

The sophmores are still going to win. Going against lesser competition than he's used to, Kevin Durant is going to dominate. Al Horford will outperform any of the rookie centers. Al Thornton will outplay Michael Beasley despite all the hype. I'll admit that the Rookies are stronger in the back court with Mayo and Rose (because Durant will probably play small forward), but the sophomores have better talent at every other position.

Who the hell knows if Oden will make it to All-Star weekend.

Sophmores:

C: Horford/Hawes
PF: Thornton/Noah
SF: Green/Brewer
SG: Durant
PG: Rodney Stuckey

Rookies:
C: Gasol/Oden
PF: Beasley/ Thompson
SF: Fernandez
SG: Mayo/Gordon
PG: Rose/Westbrook

I hate to sound homerish but there is no way that Scola is not on the Rookie team....and Brewer sucks.....Chandler or either of the Youngs would be better choices.....

As long as Nick Young is on the sophomore team, they will win.

C-Oden
PF-Love
SF-Beasley
SG-Mayo
PG-Rose

vs.

C-Horford
PF-Jianlian
SF-Young
SG-Durant
PG-Conley

Just judging by the probable starters it could be close, but I still think the Rooks got the upper-hand.

I would think:

C-Al Horford/Spencer Hawes
PF-Thaddeus Young
SF-Al Thornton/Jeff Green
SG-Kevin Durant/Wilson Chandler
PG-Nick Young/Rodney Stuckey

C-Marc Gasol/Greg Oden
PF-Jason Thompson/Kevin Love
SF-Michael Beasley/Rudy Fernandez
SG-O.J. Mayo/Russell Westbrook
PG-Derrick Rose/Mario Chalmers

My money's on the rookies.

Nope Sophmores take it I cant wait to watch it tough its gonna be a good one, I think the line-up would be Stuckey who matches up well against Rose then Nick Young will play SG against Mayo so Beasly can go up agianst Durant, and Gosal Vs. Hartford.
