It's 4-2 Pistons right now. The shooting has been extremely ugly for both teams, as 5 minutes have gone by with just 6 points scored.

19-17 Pistons after 1 quarter. This is an extremely sloppy game. Pierce is already in a lot of foul trouble, with three personal fouls and a technical.

What a second quarter! The Celtics are beating the crap out of the Pistons at the Half, 47-29. The Celtics outscored the Pistons 30-10 in the second quarter, with the majority of the scoring coming from the bench.

Tony Allen has 13 points in 13 minutes off the bench.

Leon Powe has played only 2 minutes off the bench, but has scored 6 points.

Eddie House and Big Baby have combined for 5 points of their own, which means that 24 of the Celtics 47 first half points came from the bench.

A solid 3rd quarter from the Celtics as well. They lead 69-51 after 3 quarters, and look to have this thing locked up.

I thought the pistons would be pretty good with AI but so far they are not looking that good.

Why can't Doc Rivers give 5-10 minutes to Gabe Pruitt and Bill Walker?

Celtics win, 88-76. This was a great game for the C's, against a team that got worse by trading Billups, IMO. How about Tony Allen? 23 points in 27 minutes off the bench!

He is certainly doing a lot to make people forget about the loss of James Posey. Last year, Posey averaged 7.4 PPG, could always be counted on to hit a big 3 pointer, and played good defense. He was also a big boost in the locker room, which is hard to replace. I'm not sure how TA is in the locker room, but in terms of his on-court play, he is averaging 11.3 PPG and plays great defense.

Tony played well tonight...reminded me of how he was playing just before his injury.

Detroit looked like a team that hasnt played together much. With some coaching the A.I. trade could still work out....as the very least they clear a ton of cap room for next year but I am not sure it will make them better this year.

As has been said, Allen looked spectacular tonight... really the only Celtic to go nuts about on an individual basis. Team played very good defense though against a solid Pistons squad, particularly Rasheed and AI.

No more Pistons to worry about come playoff time. I mean, they'll be there and be a force, but I don't feel they'll be as hard to beat as they were with Chauncey and that original line-up for all those years.

Yeah, I actually think that this trade makes them a worse team. I wouldn't say that we don't have to worry about them though. They'll still be dangerous, because Iverson can score at will.
