I'm never picking the Celtics to win in any of their games.

That's just how I roll ;)

I'm really looking forward to seeing the Pistons vs Celtics game. These two teams faced off last season in the Eastern Conference Finals, and it was one of the best series of the entire postseason. So that alone makes it must see tv for me. I'm also excited to see how the Pistons matchup with Boston when AI is in the starting lineup, opposed to Chauncey Billups.

I have NEVER been more ashamed to be a Piston fan in my life. ****ing nauseating what they're doing. Their season is over far as I'm concerned.

Get down off the ledge. It's only one game, one meaningless game. The whole team outside of Tayshaun decided not to show up tonight, and when your playing the Celtics, you aren't going to win unless your entire team decides to show up and play. And once Iverson becomes more comfortable with his new teammates, the Pistons will start to role, and well be playing deep into June like we do every season.

Pretty much, I knew AI would be a failure but I didn't think it would be this bad. The only positive thing I thought AI could bring was some excitement, but there's still time left and half the building is empty at least The Palace sounded like the good old days at The Palace until the second quarter hit anyways.

I really hope the Pistons just buy out or waive AI, let him ruin some other team while letting Stuckey develop.

Come on man.

We're 4-2. Not the end of the world. I wasn't happy about today's performance, but Boston is a great team and losing to them wouldn't have come as a huge shock to me.

pistons looked terrible. that flat out effortless and the crowd completely bailed on them. i never thought i would see that. sheed is useless.

heres the problem. detriot is still playing the way they did with billupts and havent realized they need to a new gameplan since they have AI.

0-2 since Iverson came in.

Losing to Boston is OK.

Getting dominated the second half against the Nets is not.

Rolling over for Boston is not.

Once the Rockets blew the lead it was over from that point. And seriousy how the hell do the Rockets expect to win when their 3 stars score a total of 23 points?

Kobe was great tonight. He shot 10 of 17. And he shut down Artest and forced him into a 2 for 11 night. That is why he is the best player in the nba. He is not going to score 35 and let his opponent get 25 back on him.

The Lakers are too deep for teams to compete with. Pretty much every game this year has gone the same way. First quarter, the game is still close. Then when its time for the benches to play a roll for each team, its no longer a contest. The Lakers keep running fresh guys out there while the oppents have guys trying to play 40 minutes just to keep it competitive. Right now, they are by far the best team in the NBA. And that is not a homer pick, I said all last year the Celtics were the best, but now its the Lakers.

Man, the Lakers seem to have really improved defensively. They look scary. Kobe also seems to finally understand how to get a good look over a bad look. He may not score as much, but he looks alot more efficient out there.

Another observation is how Iverson is affecting the Pistons. People kept saying Iversons 7 assist per game will allow Detroit not to skip a beat as far as playmaking goes. Still this is yet another prove that stats are such a hollow way to predict things. Iverson is still a score-first player, and that that is really difficult meshing with such a balanced roster as Detroit.

Meanwhile Chauncey is really helping Denver because he knows it doesn't matter how much assists you average, it's about making the right play at the right time and getting all you players involved on the offense.

Assists is really one of the most misleading statistics in basketball...it only tells how many times a pass directly leads to a basket. With Chauncey it happens because he sees the floor and knows where his players will be in the offense, with Iverson it usually it happens as a result of a help defense on him and finding the open man.

I love both players, but if you want to play a more efficient balanced team game, Chauncey is your guy. Iverson, with all his great individual skills, is just better suited as the off-guard because his score first mentality really makes it difficult on him to focus on orchestrating the offense. With four other guys who can score the basketball this is a must. For him it a much tougher transition in his new team than Billups, who can pretty much do what he always does and immediately make an impact.
