Sammy Morris (knee) took part in no phases of practice Wednesday.

He should be owned in all leagues, but probably won't play in Week 10.

Randy Moss (foot) was limited in practice Wednesday.

He did the same last week and didn't wind up on the final injury report.

LaMont Jordan (calf) was limited in Patriots practice Wednesday.

The Patriots were in shorts and shells for a light, no-contact practice and Jordan still isn't practicing fully. His status for Week 10 is uncertain.

I think it is a bigger game for you guys since the other one is in Buffalo, but I think the Bills are reeling a bit and need something good to happen after losing to the Dolphins and Jets. Some pressure will be on both teams.

Definitely, it is an important game for both teams. I think your right in saying that it's a bigger game for us because if we drop this game, our chances of winning in Buffalo are much more slim. Either way, I think it will be a good game and may the best team win :box:

LaMont Jordan (calf) and Sammy Morris (knee) were both absent from the start of Patriots practice Thursday.

Jordan's status is uncertain for Week 10 against the Bills and this doesn't bode well for his chances of playing. Both players remain week to week.

Man...Jordan looks like he won't be playing again this week. Just wonderful.

At least Green-Ellis is a pretty powerful north and south runner. And now with Aaron Schobel on the bench, he should be able to have good production this week.

TheRedMarauder
11-06-2008, 10:16 PM
Randy Moss (foot) returned to a complete practice on Thursday.

Moss was limited in Wednesday's practice, but he will start in Week 10. He is on pace for 76 catches, 1,072 yards (14.1 YPC), and eight TDs this season.

LaMont Jordan (calf) missed Patriots practice in its entirety Thursday.

It's not looking good for Jordan's chances of playing in Week 10 against the Bills. BenJarvus Green-Ellis is probably setup for a third consecutive start and timeshare with Kevin Faulk. BGE will be the best bet for touchdowns.

Sammy Morris (knee) miss practice again on Thursday.

Morris will most likely be listed as doubtful on Friday's injury report.

Is Schobel benched or is he hurt?

TheRedMarauder
11-07-2008, 05:23 PM
Sammy Morris (knee) and LaMont Jordan (calf) both were absent from the start of Patriots practice Friday.

Coach Bill Belichick wouldn't characterize Jordan's recent missed practices as an indication of a setback, but that seems likely. Neither of the runners can be counted on to face Buffalo. Morris has a shot to return in Week 11.

I was so pumped about Jordan coming here because he could be great in short yardage situations. However, he's been hurt too much. It's a real shame.

Is Schobel benched or is he hurt?

Schobel is hurt, possibly out for the season.

TheRedMarauder

Randy Moss is not on the Patriots' final injury report for Week 10.

He will pose problems for a battered and bruised Bills secondary Sunday.

Sammy Morris (doubtful, knee) missed practice again on Friday.

Morris is believed to be gunning for a Week 11 return against the Jets.

LaMont Jordan (calf, questionable) did not practice on Friday.

Jordan didn't practice on Thursday either and no one should be counting on him to face Buffalo. Expect BenJarvus Green-Ellis and Kevin Faulk to share snaps again, with BGE the best bet for TDs and Faulk the better PPR play.

The Intimidator

With the Bills' secondary as banged up as it is, we need to throw deep to Moss all day. They're going to have guys back there no one has ever heard of.

jetsfan89
11-09-2008, 12:52 AM
watch out for Jabari Greer. he's one of the better CB's that you may never have heard of. him and mcgee are a solid CB duo. the bills like to blitz so if i were Mcdaniels i would have plays attacking the middle of the field with welker in the slot, especially with whitner out.

good luck and see ya on thursday :)

bagwell368
11-09-2008, 08:29 AM
Bills are hurting, and the last two teams that have played them have figured them out. Expect BB to have several unpleasant surprises for them. Pats will win time of possession and eventually wear out Bills in 2nd half.

TheRedMarauder
11-09-2008, 11:59 AM
FoxSports.com believes LaMont Jordan is "better than 50-50" to play Sunday.

That comes as a big surprise after Jordan missed practice Thursday and Friday. If Jordan did play, he would heavily cut into BenJarvus Green-Ellis' touches. Keep an eye on the situation if you own BGE. Jordan would be worth a pickup to put on your bench in most leagues if he gets a surprise start. We still have our doubts.

o yea forgot about that...but even so the Rams are not a good team they are a bad team, we almost lost because we are not that good of a team either, we just manage to hold on to most of the games we've won so far, we've either got blown out in our losses or won by 10 or less points. How is the Rams not a bad team? You don't know much about football huh? The Patriots and Rams are both pretty good teams. As soon as St. Louis got their new coach Jim Haslett they've been playing good football regardless of what their record says. The Lions and Raiders are bad teams. Oh my bad you are the God of football, you know everything about football and yet you refuse to admit that the St. Louis Rams are not that good of a team. I didn't say the Patriots were a bad team, I said they were not that good of a team, they are a fair team that knows how to get the job done with either offense or defense, but if the defense doesn't do well then the Pats are more than likely to lose this season because of our lack of offense. Theres not that much difference between the Rams and Lions and Raiders, Rams and Raiders have same records, all three teams have similar PF and PAs. They may have been playing good football with their new coach but if they can't win then what does that say about them? They are having bad luck? or they don't have a good enough team to pull out victories

They are having bad luck? or they don't have a good enough team to pull out victories

I don't care what their records say the Rams are alot better than the Raiders or the Lions. Any sportswriter or analyst in the country will tell you that and, you didn't say the Rams were not a good team you said they were horrible and, you said the Patriots are a bad team too. Don't renig on your words.

I agree. The Rams are much better than their record indicates, today's game notwithstanding.

Those last two runs by Cassel were obviously purposely bad.

Intimidator what do you think happens when Lamont Jordan comes back? Obviously if Sammy Morris comes back then he'll get his carries but, I don't know if Jordan will with the way Green-Ellis is running unless there's an injury.

o yea forgot about that...but even so the Rams are not a good team they are a bad team, we almost lost because we are not that good of a team either, we just manage to hold on to most of the games we've won so far, we've either got blown out in our losses or won by 10 or less points. How is the Rams not a bad team? They are 2-6, they have allowed almost double the amount of points that they have scored (235 PA-125 PF) so "The Rams are not a bad team" is true because the Rams are a horrible team.

I admit I did say the rams are a horrible team but where did I say the Patriots were a bad team? The bolded part is what I said, so don't put words in my mouth either. Yes the Rams are better then the Lions and Raiders but if the Lions get a QB then I'm willing to be they will prob be better than the Rams, they got some young talent in Johnson and Kevin Smith. I still say though that the Rams are a bad team but thats imo, no one has to agree

Nope. The Rams are better than the Lions this year and, they will be for years to come. They got a good offense and a good defense that is going to be great when Chris Long matures. The Lions will suck forever. Jeff Garcia and, Daunte Culpepper have both proven they can win in the NFL but, they can't win with Detroit because they always suck.

Most Law Firms have 3 or 4 names, that's why. It's a bad nickname, but it makes sense.

Facing the Jets on a short week will be tough, but I think we can win. Being at home is big.
