Fun Facts
-G Vesa Toskala, in the most polite terms possible, said the Leafs could be able to survive the loss of offensive leader C Mats Sundin.
“I think sometimes when you have a big scorer like Mats, it’s easier to stay behind him and just wait for him to do some things,” Toskala said. “We know we don’t have any natural-born 50-goal scorers here, so we have to work hard to get goals.”
-Kaberle and Toskala are the only Leafs on this year’s NHL All-Star Game fan ballot.
-D Luke Schenn and D Jeff Finger have now been partnered as a shutdown pairing for the Leafs as coach Ron Wilson reunited Czech countrymen D Tomas Kaberle and D Pavel Kubina.

Key Matchup
Shawn Thornton vs. Jamal Mayers

Its about time hockey is on again...that was too long of a lay off. Lets just hope the Bruins play with the same intensity they showed against Dallas...I would not be happy with anything but a win...lets get it done Bruins

Any word on who will be in net? I'm hopng that it's Timmy, seeing that he had a long lay-off between last game and tonight.

This game proved two things:

Wheels and Krejci is going to be in the Futures game...if they are not someone needs to die.

Timmy Thomas should be an all star...again, if he is not someone needs to die.

Agreed.

Timmy is superman. Krejci and Wheeler is playing awesome, so is Wideman and Ference. And hopefully Chara will get going now and score some PP goals for us.

Itīs gonna be a good year

Fantastic game for the B's last night. I was pissed I couldn't see it, but I had a game of my own.
