What second year player do you think will have a breakout season this year?

So far, I think that Nick Young is ready to do the most damage

Wilson has already surprised many people with his play. Nick Young is picking up slack 4 the Wizards (they have real bad luck). I think Thorntons ready 4 a big year. Rudy Gay if im not mistaken. Granger. I think i got some draft classes mixed up though.

Watching Spencer Hawes play, I think his name should be mentioned.

07-08: 4.7 ppg, 3.2 rpg, 0.6 apg in 13.1 minutes
08-09: 11.7 ppg, 9.7 rpg, 1.7 apg in 30.4 minutes

Spencer Hawes had a great 1st game. But i was mistaken b4 Gay and Granger are 3rd. I would say Horford should have a good year.

Spencer Hawes

Wilson Chandler

kevin durant... unfortunately, his breakout won't make the thunder contenders

11-02-2008, 04:20 PM
Aaron Brooks.

I'm still convinced Morris Almond makes an impact if given PT.

Therefor he won't have a breakout year. I like Mo's game but he won't get tha time of day in Utah.

What about the other Young?

Thaddeus Young.

He had 17 points in the 1st against the Hawks last night, he is an absolute beast who is rediculously atheletic. 6 foot 9 and has a great 3 point shot, can go inside, etc.

Spencer Hawes

if given the opportunity, yes...

but who knows what happens with hawes once brad miller comes back..hopefully petrie finds a way to trade brad so spencer can continue to develop.

aaron brooks is really good, hes just buried on a good team.

if he were on the thunder or a team in need of a pg hed put up 15 pt and 10 assists per game

11-02-2008, 07:24 PM
who else on the clips will score???

11-02-2008, 07:27 PM
Thad young

Thaddeus Young could have a breakout year.

11-02-2008, 09:08 PM
Al Horford
Al Thornton: Could take his game to the next level. He's going to have to for the Clips to have a good year.
Spencer Hawes: If Miller is traded at the deadline
Jeff Green
Marco Belinelli: Nelly said he was going to find time for him.

Spencer Hawes....

12 ppg
2.3 bpg
10 rpg
2.5 apg

Plus the guy is a hustler and can shoot the 3 ball. He's a beast no doubt about it.

11-02-2008, 10:10 PM
He's getting 1.7 assists a game but once Brad Miller comes back his numbers will go down. We may trade him though at the deadline. We won't be anywhere close to the playoff picture than and may be selling some of our vets at the deadline.

Aaron Brooks for sure, if Rafer doesnt watch out, Aaron could be the starter soon

THese r the biggest contenders out of the sophmores.

Spencer Hawes
Thad Young
Jamrio Moon
Al THorton
Al Horford

Actually he is the backup PG and some think that he should start. He has really played well in the first 3 games and has shown alot of courage (he was supposed to be out for 3 weeks and came back after...2 days). I think he has a bright future and I see alot of cp3 in him.

Wilson Chandler, Thad Young, Spencer Hawes, Al Thornton and Rodney Stuckey.

I like Thad Young...this guy can play the two, three and the four. I think he'll be an instant energy player.

Al Thornton showed he could become a elite scorer.

My favorite is Al Horford...he is a guy that will help you win games. I love his old shool game, his stats will not blow you away but he will make an impact one way or another.
