I think Rudy Gay will make it and/or Gerald Wallace.

I could See D rose Making it as a Rok. He is only going to get better and he is already averaging 15 ppg 4 RPG and 5 APG. And The East is short on realy talented PGs. We will have to see.

lol rose isn't making the all star game. off the top of my head.. billups, calderon, and miller all have more of a chance making it than rose. plus, i think the max. number of east PGs at the all star game will be 2 because it's not by specific position, it's G, F and C.

so rose isn't making it.

^ Agreed. Granger should be in 4 a big year also Gay. Very Similar players. I been waiting 4 Gerald Wallace to have that break out year. Kevin Martin could make it.

Granger possibly, I love his game. In order to make it on a bad team, you have to have the most ridiculous stats out there, so Gay, Wallace, and Martin will have to wait their turn. Why do you think Big Al didn't make it last year despite 21-11?

Rose is averaging 18 (PPG), 4 (RPG), and 5 (APG). I think he's a realistic option especially in the East.

I think he will. He's already the Bulls #1 option and go to guy. I think the RPG might go down; but the APG will go up.

True. But Granger and the Pacers got a surprising whoopin of the Celtics last night.

I bet the same.

What the Bulls need is Rose to set up his teammates, not score all the points himself. In the games up to now he has either had a lot of assists and not so many points, or almost no assists and a lot of points.

If he continues to do that the Bulls will be in trouble soon because team will easily be able to adjust their defense to that. The other Bulls scorers (Deng, Gordon) need to get into their groove, and it should be Rose's job to get them there. They don't need him to run around like Speedy Gonzalez trying to be Kobe Bryant or Dwyane Wade in his rookie year. The Bulls drafted a playmaker on purpose. If they wanted a scorer they should have drafted someone else.

It's much easier to get those numbers when you have good players on your team. Put Rose on the Raptors and see how many assists he gets.

I would like to see any one of these guys make it:

Danny Granger
Al Jefferson
Kevin Martin
and of course Deron Williams

I think Granger is in this season. I meant the others you listed, maybe I didn't clarify that.

I'm a Raps fan and that is ridiculous. Oh wait, Calderon has a chance to make the All-star team this year, Kapono will be in the 3pt contest, and Moon might get an invite to go back to the dunk contest but that is the closest they will get.

I think that if the Bucks actually learned to use Bogut a little more that he has a chance to have a great season and make the all-star team.

Well, Rose is the best player on his team so far, averaging 18 PPG, 4.3 APG, 4.7 REB and 1.3 STL.

If those AST numbers go up then he has a really good shot. There isn't really a great PG in the East anyway and he has a pretty big fanbase voting for him.

He will struggle at times, but through 3 games he's looked very, very good. If he's consistent with his scoring he has a real chance.

What the Bulls need is Rose to set up his teammates, not score all the points himself. In the games up to now he has either had a lot of assists and not so many points, or almost no assists and a lot of points.
Rose has done an excellent job of setting up his teammates. They just aren't making shots. Not much Rose can do about that.

It helps to watch a game rather than look at a box score. Not very indicative of what's really happening each game.

If Deng, Gordon and Nocioni wake up and start making wide open jumpers than those AST numbers will jump.

IF kings are .500 or better by all star break, kevin martin should definitely make it otherwise he probably wouldn't make the team which would suck because he deserves this.

so did Al Jefferson last season. Martin will have to wait, because I don't think his team will be anywhere near .500
