This game took ages to start.

I was thinking the same thing.

I took a nap & thought the game was going to start at 8pm. I woke up & I don't think it began until close to 8:20-8:30pm. I guess since it was NO's home opener the start got delayed a bit.

Why is Peja not playing? I missed the pre-game talk. So all I know is that Rasual Butler was in the starting lineup along with Mo Pete.

The Cavs were on a roll there at the end of the 1st qtr.

If Hickson were two inches taller I think that he'd have All-Star potential. He is so athletic & can jump like crazy. He's got that wide frame that you like from a big man. He just lacks the height a little bit. He could turn into a great role player for us.

Posey is killing us. We lead by 2 still, but he's 3 for 3 on 3 pointers thus far in limited minutes.

Byron Scott should have started him over Rasual Butler.

No doubt. I really have liked everything that I have seen from him since he returned to the team. I went to a preseason game & he was more impressive to me than LBJ, honestly. He brought us back in the wanning minutes & I do believe he was near a triple double in the close win over the Philly 76'ers.

Granted, that was only a preseason game. But as long as he gets 28-30 mpg he is going to put up 10+ ppg, & about 4 apg, 4 rpg.

Definitely. I was unsure about starting him over Boobie, but it's nice to see they are both getting their fair share of time. Cavs have a pretty deep bench.

He's a better all around player than Boobie, honestly. Boobie is more effective in shorter stints because he is not as good of a defender as West, nor the playmaker that West has become. Boobie is a better shooter, but the Cavs seemingly put more value on D & all around game than scoring. Especially in a starting lineup that already includes the NBA's scoring champ + one of the best scoring C's in the NBA.

They were only 3 point dogs.

Not sure if the sports books knew that Peja was out though. I didn't know that he was.

We've just lost to two better teams. It all boils down to that. Not sure the Cavs can bounce back and get back to a .500 mark against the Mavs, either.

Just have to turn around and hope to catch Dallas offguard, even though it seems like we can never play well against Dallas.

Yes, I have heard of it. Don't know exactly where it is. Isn't it between Akron & Columbus? I seem to recall passing it on the way to C-bus?

No, he's a streaky player. We just need to run more if we want him to have success. But I do understand that they didn't want to run tonight vs. NO. That would have been a mistake vs. such an opponent.

9-17 on freethrows. Unreal.
If we could have hit 80% it probably would have been a lot closer. A lot of the situations down the stretch would have been different.

I would like to see more offensive plays going to Mo. I think when you have a scorer like him getting him going early on is key. Let's hope things do change offensively for the Mavs.

Our D looked alright till the 4th. Fairly low scoring coming into the 4th.

One thing I did like though was ball movement. I think that's something that we can use to beat up on a lot of teams in the league.

Again though LeBron needs to play better offensively as does Williams.

It's about 2 hours north of Columbus. It depends what way you took from Akron. You could have drove through it. It's a pretty big town.

People can criticize LeBron all that they want for him not netting 30 tonight. But the fact of the matter is that he was getting his teammates involved. if he got 30, but only 4-5 assists we still would have lost. He isn't the problem. The other players are.

Of course him distributing the ball is excellent. The thing though is he is our most efficient offensive player. He needs to control the game like he did on offense, but at the same time he needs to be more aggressive offensively.

Also I think it's more of a Mo Williams things then LeBron. I think if LeBron and Mo distribute the ball well, and score a combined 35-40 I think we put ourselves in a good situation to win.

Which is pretty reasonable. Mo could score 15 he has the ability, and Lebron can easily score 20-25 while distributing.

I am not disagreeing I just think we need more from a guy who we all know chooses the fate of the Cavaliers.
