In a potential swap of players who do not figure in their current teams' plans, the Knicks and Warriors have reportedly had discussions about a trade involving Eddy Curry and Al Harrington.

The Warriors are more interested in a package including David Lee.

The better offers for Harrington are coming from Western Conference clubs, but the Warriors would prefer to ship Harrington to the Eastern Conference."

They are trying to give Cheeseburger Eddy a heart attack trying to send him to all those run and gun teams!

No way knicks give up david lee.
Sounds like a possible deal though, better for the knicks IMO.
Can't see it happening though - if D'antoni can't make eddy curry run, you think Don Nelson can?

^I agree. Him on a team like GS, would not work out well for him or the team at all!

that would be a nice move for the knicks, but i don't see the warriors pulling the trigger on that one.

I could see it happening only if NY included Nate. The warriors need a pg. I could totally see them going nate/curry for al...

The only promblem with this trade is Eddy Curry. If he isn't involved, I think the trade will work out whatever it ends up being.

mullin would be an absolute idiot if he did this trade. Curry would be as effective as adonal foyle (without the blocks) if he was on the w's.

The only reason that I would do it is because Curry gives something to the Warriors that they lack against Western Conference power houses...SIZE. They are as good as anybody at running and gunning, but this team is different this year. They aren't going to be doing as much. Last night, they had a lot more half court sets. Run and gun can only get you so far, until you run into Stoudemire, Duncan, or Boozer. Curry could at least body these guys out, cause no one else on the Warriors can stop them. The Warriors might be getting ripped off, but Al harrinton hasn't done **** for us, so to me it wouldn't be that big of a deal. It's not like Al helps the Warriors on the fast break anyways. Hes always last down court and jacks up jumpers. I dont think this is as bad as people think. Even when they had Davis they couldn't compete with teams that have size, so that shows they need to switch something up.

A tree would give them size and more production than Eddy Curry. His size has done absolutely nothing in the East. How is he gonna hang with the Bigs in the West?

I could easily see some sort of swap with Marbury and Harrington instead. GS needs a PG... badly

We get rid of 3 years of out of shape frustration for 2 years of good athleticism and perimeter shooting?

Two years ago Eddy Curry put up 19-7 led the league in points in the paint. I wouldn't call that NOTHING.
