The Clipper instead of the SuckA$$ Blazers!

The Clippers in reality got just as blown out as the Blazers except the Blazers have alot more depth....

the sixers will be better than people think. I can see them going 45-37
The bucks will win about 38 games before falling to 9th in the east.

Sac Kings are going to blow people out of the water with how good they will be. Some people think the Kings could be the worst team in the league, worst in their division. But I really feel the Kings have that mix of young talent, athleticism, and more upside than most teams. If all the pieces fit well....WATCH OUT!! Did anybody see the two-headed monster on display last night. Spencer Hawes and Jason Thompson are going to be lethal... WESTERN CONFERENCE: YOU ARE ON NOTICE!!

I agree it could be the Bucks. The Sixers and T-Wolves could make some noise for sure.

I won't say my obvious answer.

So I'll go with the Sixers.

I don't know if you consider them a "surprise" team, but they're gonna be at least 8th seed this season.

There can't really be one suprise team for the entire league, unless they make it all the way to the playoffs. The only example of that I kind of team I can think of is Cleveland the year before last, because the entire squad sucked except for LeBron James.
The suprise team in the East will probably be Philidelphia. Atlanta was the big suprise last year when it took the Celtics to seven. The 76'ers are just barely more proven though. The have a star power forward for the half court, a fast small forward for the open court, a dependable point guard, and an offensively inept but defensively imposing center. They'll do good, but Philly's lack of depth will spell their doom.
Despite being a Blazers fan, I think the suprise team in the west will be the Clippers. They have one of the top five point guards in the league, a bulky but quick rookie combo guard with Rodney Stuckey written all over him, a young but experienced small forward just waiting to explode on the scene, the defensive dominance of Marcus Camby, and a defensively minded center who can score well in the post. If the chemistry appears, I could see them making it to the second round of the playoffs.

The Clippers surprised you? I guess because of the franchises reputation but I dont see what was so surprising about their success considering their roster.

LOL If "Whipdick" Oden can manage to stay off the court they will have hopes at top 10 again.

WARRIORS

the team has defense now, and even without a true point guard keeps the game competitive with the best team out there ie hornets and raptors. and by the way win #1 is in the books... go warriors

The Celtics are the defending Champions so until somebody knocks them off, they're still going to be the "team to beat".

I defiantly agree with you when it comes to the Hawks being one of the surprise teams in the East. They've already had their coming out party against the Celtics last year in the playoffs, taking them to 7 games when nobody game them a chance to even win a game in that series. They have one of the better PG's in the East in Mike Bibby, they have Joe Johnson who can score with pretty much any player there is in the Eastern Conference (Outside of Lebron) , they also have tons of young talent in Josh Smith and Acie Law who are both primed for a break out season, and they also have Al Horford who who's already one of the better young PF's in the NBA.

How politically correct, but its not much of a prediction if you wait until it actually follows through. Raps will surprise alot of heads

Yea I didnt know what to think of the Hawks with them losing their only bench player on what was easily the worst bench in the league last year but Im banking on JJ having a bounce back season and Smith raising his game to a higher level and hes actually one of the best PF's in the game. Their starters can compete with anyone thats for sure.

Up by 22 when the Celtics threw in the towel. Double digit lead since the second quarter. TJ Ford schooled Rajon Rondo.

I'll call it: Upset of the Year.

I had the Blazers finishing 5th in the west, ahead of Phoenix, San Antonio, and Dallas. Phoenix will start slow and be inconsistent, San Antonio will play maybe .600 ball without Ginobili (Duncan is getting too old to be playing almost 40 minutes). I wasn't expecting Oden to be injured, but they can still pull it off.

Don't Bash Me but i think it could be the raps!

If they win the games they are suppose to like against New Jersey and Atlatlant and then upset some teams they could go IMO!!!!!

53-29

Second Round Exit or loss in ECF to Boston or Cleveland

IMO Joey Grahm,Bargnani and Moon will all step up there games and Colangelo will make a deal at the deadline to push this team over the top
Lets wait and see!:):)
