I'm not too sure how many folks who live in LA are Clippers fans maybe someone can give some insight on it. I actually think they could be a much more profitable team if they moved to a place like Las Vegas.

With that in mind, would they relocate somewhere else?

Have you been to Vegas? Everybody in Las Vegas loves the Lakers...They would be highly disinterested in the Clippers.

I think they should move to San Diego.

NO! The Clippers make tons of money since they moved to Staples. Even get good attendence too. If they were ever going to move it would have been to Anaheim in the early part of the decade. Believe it or not they could have possibly overcome the Lakers shadow in the OC. However our owner still makes more money in LA so it didn't happen.

They need to move over to San Diego. Weren't they there before? I dunno. Anyways San Diego would be in their best interest. Great market.

For Lakers vs Clippers games. If the Clippers are the home team is their a limit on how many tickets Lakers fans can get for that game?

How would they really know who was a fan for what team though? I think its something more like the "home" team earns the revenue for the game.

No. I went to a Clipper v. Piston game one time. There were WAY more Pistons fans there. They don't care who the fans are. They just want the money!

I think the Clipper should relocate because everytime they play the Lakers it's like another home game for the Lakers.

The clippers might want to consider relocating tomorrow after that loss

Since i'm an Lakers fan, i like the fact they share the same building.. why? because when Lakers play Clippers on their homecourt, it's just another home court advantage for the Lakers. Ive gone to Lakers vs Clippers games in the past, and believe it or not, the ratio of Lakers fan base is probably 50 to 1 there. I wish Lakers had the same ticket prices as Clippers where you can buy 1 and get one free. That would be amazing!

So when the two teams play eachother how do they sell the tickets?

Wouldn't everyone buy the tickets as being (cheaper) Clippers tickets :D

well, there's two home games by each team. and the home team sells the tickets.

So when it's the Clippers home games what it basically comes down to is Laker fans getting cheaper tickets :smoking:

Yup, that's what it is IF they get the tickets during presales. If you get them through ticket broker sites, you'll basically pay Lakers ticket price... which is jacked up 1.5x face value or more. Never understood why :[ I wish the prices were'nt so expensive. Maybe more 'real' fans would attend.. instead we get a bunch of damn celebs who talk on the cell phone about the next music/movie they're going to make during the game

not San Diego, they never made money there b4, so they wont go back there. No 2 seattle as well, kuz they had trouble getting the money for the sonics. the place that would b good is Vancouver. they should give em another chance. then they switch OKC and LAC divisions. so vancouver clippers r in the NW, as OKC would b pacific.
