haha jags will put up more than 20...
I'm saying Jags 31 - Bengals 13
Jones-Drew and Taylor will tear them apart, not to mention Garrard just came off a career game.

Jones-Drew and Taylor will tear them apart, not to mention Garrard just came off a career game.

Jags have scored over 24 just once this year, it's possible that they just rape the Bengals D-line, but I actually expect it to be a close game come half time. It's the second half that the Bengals (this year) fall apart and wish they were in the locker room rather than the sideline.
Garrard probably won't throw a td (recievers suck) unless it's too a rb. Jones-Drew and Taylor will both run for one and Garrard might run for one. So that's why I projected 20.

Bengals coach Marvin Lewis expects TE Ben Utecht (chest) to play in Week 9.

With Chris Henry back and Ryan Fitzgerald at quarterback, any upside Utecht may have had has been minimized. He has only nine catches on the season.

Utecht, our 3rd down savior. 9 catches all year. Wooo Whooo

Bengals defensive coordinator Mike Zimmer said Wednesday that LCB Johnathan Joseph needs to step up his play.

Joseph probably won't be benched because the corners behind him aren't any better, but he's been burnt regularly. Kevin Walter was the beneficiary in Week 8 and Matt Jones will likely draw Joseph in primary coverage Sunday.

10-31-2008, 10:44 PM
Chad Ocho Cinco (foot) was a late addition to the Bengals' injury report Friday, but is listed as probable to play in Week 9.

The probable tag means players are considered "virtually certain" to be ready for normal duty. No. 85 had limited practice, but should start against the Jags. He is on pace for only 64 catches this season and is averaging just 9.8 yards per reception, which is an unbelievably low number for him.

Bengals declared WR Jerome Simpson, WR Andre Caldwell, OG Andrew Crummey, QB Carson Palmer, CB Geoffrey Pope, DT Jason Shirley, TE Nate Lawrie, and DT Orien Harris inactive for Week 9.

Simpson, a second-round pick, has made virtually no impact in his first year. Shirley and Caldwell are also rookies. Palmer is out indefinitely.

Bengals LCB Johnathan Joseph had a career-high 15 tackles Sunday and made a game-saving play on a two-point conversion in the fourth quarter.

Jones was asked to step it up by his defensive coordinator this week and responded heroically. His breakup of a quick pass intended for Jags WR Jerry Porter saved the game from going to overtime and secured the Bengals' first win.

Cedric Benson has gained many fans in Cincinnati, including his teammates and offensive line.

"Unbelievable character," said LG Andrew Whitworth. "Here's a guy that comes in here, people gave him a hard time in Chicago, he said he was sorry and he showed it. He's been here every day working his tail off. He's got a great attitude." LT Levi Jones added, "He's just come in here, put his head down and run hard." Benson has 241 yards and a touchdown in five games with the Bengals.

haha Cedric Benson...Nothing more than a bust. If the Bengals are expecting him to be their future tailback then they are lost.

he kinda needs a QB that can actually throw him the ball for him to catch it..lesson learned never take a QB from harvard or whereever hes from
