DEF. Deron Williams and Greg Oden. Both young, athletic and the pick and roll would be UNSTOPPABLE!

i think kobe and chris bosh is pretty close to kobe and kg(would've been the unstoppable duo) but i also have to go with lebron and stoudemire who would be the most athletic duo

I'd have to say Chris Paul and Dwight Howard. The best young PG and the best young C? When building a team, that's what you want.

Paul/Howard no doubt. Two of the best at their respective positions, which are the hardest positions to fill.

LeBron/Amare is a damn fine second, but you can fill those positions with other talent, especially if you have Paul/Howard, and have a sick team.

great thread by the way

1. LEBRON -STODEMire top 2 wingman with top 3 big man
2. KOBE - BOsh best guard with top5 forward
3. paul- Howard -best center , best pg best center

found lots of flaws with the teams with either 2 big men or 2 small guys as the best duos in the past give you the best of both worlds, i think in terms of trios 2 big men and one small is the best formula

NO love for the Superhype youngsters duos? Rose Beasley and Rubio Griffith?.

Or for under the radar low profile unselfish duo Of Roy DUncan?

Anyone realizes how many problems would teams have to deffend Pau and Ming?

That is a great duo. I was thinking of it as building your franchise, which is why I went with the youngsters, but you definately can't go wrong with Roy and Duncan.

Im confused, did you just randomly come up with these duos?

I'd go Paul and Howard. Both young and arguably (definitely?) the best players at the twp toughest positions to fill.
- LeBron's had some pretty good big men, the problem has been he hasn't had a great pg IMO.
- KG and Wade is pretty good, but KGs getting old and Wade is so injury prone.

Bron and Amare followed by kobe and bosh

I've gotta go with Paul and Dwight. You have the leagues best table setter, who can score at will too, and the most dominant big man on both ends of the floor. Both can defend great, and are young.

I'd have to go with CP3 and D12.. then it would be Lebron and STAT, finally Wade and Garnett. Any of those three combos would be very very sick and extremely fun to watch. Kidd/Iverson, and Manu/Dirk I don't think would be that great. Manu and Dirk are both perimeter players.. Kidd and A.I. are both perimeter players that are not "shooters". Both Kidd and A.I. are slashers, that can get hot from the outside. I think A.I. is best suited to play with a all-league bigman and defensive three point shooting role players ala Raja bell, Bruce Bowen, Posey etc. (yes A.I. had both Raja Bell and Bruce Bowen on his Sixers team before but no all-league Bigman to compliment it).

1. LeBron and Amare, hands down (and I don't even like LeBron...but fact is fact)
2. Wade and Garnett

I am a Jazz Fans but can't really choose Deron + Oden, who has not proved his ability in NBA-level.
