Nba is a bussines, and thats why for example Lebron has a clause on his shoe company deal that will pay him much more endorsementes if he plays in determinate teams.

The dream for endorsers would be to have yao either in GS or NY.

Will it ever happen?

Yao's biggest market is in China not the Bay Area or NY. The minority Chinese aren't going to be a huge deal no matter where he plays.

He's better off in Houston than playing for terrible teams like the Knicks and the Warriors.

I like Yao in Houston. Houston has a huge Asian community and I agree his biggest market is China,,,,

Yeas hs natural market is china, but there is no Nba franchise in CHina , at least not now.

Adn houstons Asian population base is not comparable to the asian comunity in San fran and Ny.

Houston has a huge asian community. Granted it's not California, but with approximately 100k asians and 23k chinese, it's not small. (http://www.uwec.edu/freitard/GroupAndMinority/Houston/Demographics/demographics.html#Race)

Where else is he going to play? You think he could deal with playing for the Knicks?

I think that his best marketing city would be in GS. However, Houston also has a very large asian population as stated before so he is fine where he is.
