Since Jamaal Crawford and Eddy Curry Struggling from D'Antoni's play..
Its a good idea to trade these two for Shawn Marion..
Since MIA needs a PG and C and Shawn Marion Knows D'Antoni's play..

Jamaal + Curry for Marion + Cook

or

Jamaal + Curry + James/Rose for Marion + Cook + Blount

I think it is a very nice and fair trade!!

jamal is a very good player but it makes him worthless or less valued if he can't cope with D'Antoni's play!!

The advantage of Knicks here is Marion.. $17M cap space for next season plus Cook!!
The bad part Blount $8M for 2 seasons..

A very good player who shoots ~40% every year...
I'd take Marion, thanks.

It doesnt matter if he shoots 40% or 30% atleast he is scoring more than a 10 points..
what do you expect on him to shoot less..

Actully it dose matter if he shoots 40% or 30%, it matters a lot.

Lets make it easy and say he avrages 10ppg from feild goals. (not counting three pointers thats 3pfg% and another conversation)

at 40% it takes him roughly 12 shots to score those 10 points

at 30% it takes him 16 shots to score those 10 points.

Big diffrence to anyone who understands basketball.

What the Knicks need to do is get used to playing in D'Antoni's system first. Then wait for their cap space to give them some breathing room to make a move. Constantly making roster moves would ruin the chemistry development in the team and it will slow down the learning process of the system. D'Antoni's system works best when its fluid, less dribbling, and more passing.

We basketball players are not perfect sure NBA players are extremely good shooters&scorers but expect also a good defense from them that's why there stats are less tha 80%..

But isnt The Matrix knows How D'Antoni's play work?? Is it much OK if making a roster moves earlier, so they can build a new chemistry before it starts??

horrible trade for the heat IMO. curry is a nobody and a waste of a contract. Crawford could be good, but we dont need him. we are too pg filled and wade is going to play the 2. unless craw is gonna play 3, hes not gonna get any PT. and isnt he too short for 3? not gonna happen

Heat are in need of a PG or a C than another wing player.

Marion>entire Knicks roster. There isn't a player on the knicks appealing enough to consider moving Marion for.
