View Full Version : Rank the teams ON PAPER

Rank the league or your conference, division, whatever...solely on how they look on paper. This way we see which teams have the best and worst combinations of coaching/chemistry/work ethic etc.

I was browsing a past redraft thread and noticed a Bobcat on the roster. It got me thinking, if some of these current non-playoff teams weren't together, and someone made a redraft with that exact team, we would probably vote them to in the playoffs.

Pacific on paper:
Lakers
Suns
Clips
Warriors
Kings

I don't think thats any different than the standings will turn out to be either. On paper works for the Pacific.

If I'd rank the teams on paper, San Antonio wouldn't even make the playoffs

You have to recognize the Knicks as a good team on paper. I would say they are the better paper team than the Heat.

You have one actual star. On paper we have a better team-Randolph, Marbury, Crawford, and Q. On paper means individual talent...not who plays better as a team.

I like how you emphasized the Grizzlies struggles by putting them 12th and 14th. That's one bad season.

I don't think the Jazz are more talented than the Spurs, Mavs nor Nuggets.

I wouldn't be suprised to see the Jazz finish ahead the Spurs or Mavs, I'd expect them to finish ahead of Denver. Also, you'd have to take the Hornets and/or the Rockets out of the top 4 to put the Spurs and/or the Mavs there.
