Really sad story. I feel bad for the kid cause he probably would've been a pretty good pro player. Poor kid. At least he still plans to finish school and get his degree. which is perhaps the most important of the story :(

He was honestly too slow for the NBA pace. But I mean what can you really do being 7' 9", I've never really thought about that. Because If I was like an accountant and I saw him working next to me I would be freaked out.

He wouldn't be able to play in the NBA he's too slow and wouldn't be able to keep up with the fast paced players.

Really sucks. With his size though, you had to know some kind of serious injury might happen at some point though.

I live in Ashveille and just watching this kid walkthrough the mall or walmart you could tell he couldn't play in the NBA. No cordination what so ever. Very sad story btw.

Thats very sad. I hope he recovers quickly. I heard he was probably going to be in the hospital for something like two months. But on the being a good pro player...I doubt it. He could be decent, but from what I've heard he's really slow.

he would have been a project, he had a lot of weight and he would have had to slim down to be able to run the floor. i know he was slow running the floor i saw him play.

Never would have mad the NBA, but very very sad nonetheless.

I hope everything goes well for him.
