Key Matchup

Laperriere Vs Avery

I say give Raycroft two more games, then assess each goalie with three games played. He did look pretty good against Philly. Without a couple calls, could have had a shutout (but we would've scored less without some calls also)

I agree you cant sit someone that allowed two goals in a game for someone that allows an average of 4 goals a game. That doesnt make sense.

i would play raycroft till he loses then play budaj again
depending on how they each fare in the upcoming games we should be able to decide

Lot of goals so far. Raycroft seems to be doing okay.

We won that game despite Raycroft not playing all that well, but he has stopped the pucks that he has needed to. I would start Budaj next game just to let him know that we still have confidence in him since I think that is his biggest problem. If Budaj does become the backup I want him to have the confidence when it's his turn to start to play a good game.
