Sox Appeal

When people talk about Trio's in the NBA everybody instantly thinks about the Celtics. But they aren't the only team in the NBA with a Trio right now.

Which team do you guys think has the best Trio?

Pierce/Garnett/Allen for me.

10-12-2008, 05:29 PM
Duncan, Ginobli, Parker anyone?

Three chamionships as a trio. I know Ginobli's hurt, but that shouldn't really matter. They've got more championships than the rest of the list combined, even if you throw in the Pierce/KG/Allen.

Everybody has a uno, trio, duo, etc.

The Celtics just have the best, ie: Championship!!!!

wow, talk about a homer thread

there should only be 2 teams in this debater, the Celtics and Rockets, yet the lakers have the most votes. Their trio must be better than boston's because boston beat their trio in the finals

Oh wow, another homer thread for all those people that in in denial that Pierce, KG, and Allen are the best Big 3 in the NBA, i mean they did prove it by winning a championship even

uptownfan
10-12-2008, 07:02 PM
It can't be the Lakers' trio. Anyone who votes for the Lakers must be a fan and is being biased. Boston showed who had the best trio in the NBA by beating the **** out of L.A.

I'm still horrified that I'm the only vote for the Spurs. In my opinion they're the best trio, and the only competition is the Celtics trio.

Hornets, if I'm building for the future (and if health was guaranteed :P).
If it's for this season, then Manu, Parker, Duncan (again, if healthy).

the Big 3 is overrated, The only I consider a threat is Kevin Garnett. I have to go with the Wizards when perfectly healthy their amazing.

Well call me a homer....Big 3 from Boston.

First year as a tandem and they get the Championship.. Not bad.

Tandem = 2

I guess I agree, though -- Allen isn't that great anymore.

Why do people even look on these posts if they're just going to be upset when somebody disagrees with them? Don't bother posting if that's the case...
The Celtics have the best trio, but I do think they could be beat by the Spurs on any given night. The lakers have a good threesome, but the problem is that even laker fans can't agree who their 3 should be...(Kobe with Bynum/Pao/Odom). My Raps are going to be pretty good, but I don't know that we can call it a great trio yet....Nobody's mentioned the Clippers yet. With Davis, Kaman and Camby we could see the best rebounding/shot blocking team in a while....

In the short run it is Pierce, Garnett, and Allen.

In the long run, it is Roy, Aldridge, and Oden.

This is coming from a Knicks/Lakers fan: Houston, has the best trio, but the Lakers have the better 4 (including Bynum.)

b_rad23
10-15-2008, 06:29 PM
I think talent wise it's probably the Celtics now but their window is closing. KG and Ray Ray have been in the league a looong time and are on their way out. I voted Houston because I'd rather have their trio- theyll be around longer. As a heat fan I do like BMW but I dont think they should even be discussed as the best trio untill theyve played for a while together. I am also offended that Zydrunas Ilgauskas is mentioned in anything to do with "best"

IMHO its down to three teams, the Lakers, Rockets, Celtics
Who has the best team overall is really what matters tho so i don't see the point in caring about trios.

There' a lot of teams not mentioned yet ie. the Hawks (Bibby, Smith, Johnson), Philly (Iggy, Brand, Miller), or the Nuggets (Iverson, Melo, KMART) yet. Everybody's got a trio.

There isnt one because nobody F'ing cares about the heat! Thats why

BMW. 1st year together what WILL they do?? Win the Championship :D

OF COURSE yes yes yes. cuz Beasley will make as much of an impact as Allen and KG. i seeeeee, your on medication. Wade is gonna get hurt... AGAIN, Marion will do good but miss games and Beasley just isnt a big impact. I am yet to see how they will win it all.

b_rad23
10-15-2008, 10:27 PM
I guess its a fact now that Wade and Marion will be injured. I guess its also a fact that Beasley cant contribute more than the 17.4 ppg on 44.5% shooting that Ray Allen averaged last year? The odds are they wont win a championship but not for the reasons u stated.

Guess what, nobody cares. Your "trio" hasn't even played a single NBA game together, you are foolish to think that they are a candidate for best trio.

The Celtics big three, followed closely by the Spurs.

The trio of Parker, Manu and Duncan have won three titles together...it would be stupid to overlook them.
