rudy fernandez. he's gonna get way more pt then expected now that martell is out for a while and even when he comes back he's gonna be rusty and rudy will just be coming into form and will definitely challenge him for mins. i just love every aspect of his game. (offensively of course ha)

I think it'll be a 3-man race between Beasley, Oden and Mayo. Beasley's my pick.

Who ever picks someone besides Beasley, Oden or Mayo is either being Homer or is a flat out ******.

Oden is going to average a double, double and around 2 blocks a game...I think he's got it.

Oden is going to average a double, double and around 2 blocks a game...I think he's got it.

Horford did around the same, if Oden gets it with those numbers, we'll see that ROY award is all about whoever is the most hyped.

im a bulls fan so i would like to think its rose, however i think a big man talent like oden`s should win fairly easily

Oden.

In the last '2009 Rookie of the Year' thread (about 3 weeks ago) I voted Mayo.

Since then I changed my opinion.

1.Oden
2.Mayo
3.Beasley

I picked Rose on the poll, but that was me being a homer.
I honestly think that it will be Beasley or Oden, Mayo might make a run at it though.

How is Oden after Rose? Point is the most difficult position to play well in a rookie season...Oden has the much better chance considering he played a little last year in summer league, practiced with the Blazers, and this year he's much stronger, much more refined on the offensive end, and center is one of the easier positions to come in and play well when you have his skill set. Mayo, Beasley, and Oden have the three best shots to win...hands down.

Beasley, Oden, Love, in that order
